Donovan Turner Donovan Turner 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Long Beach Poly | 2022 State CA – Long Beach Poly
Turner is a versatile athlete who made plays in all three phases of the game for Long Beach Poly in the spring. He lined up at nickel, CB, RB, WR and made an impact on various special teams. He excels as a physical nickel/CB with solid coverage instincts and quick reactions/burst. Turner plays with a high motor and is an aggressive tackler. His size (6’1, 185 lbs.) and skillset project him as a nickel or CB at the next level with an offer from UNLV and additional interest from Nevada and Yale.

Dajon Hancox Dajon Hancox 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Warren | 2022 State CA – Warren
Hancox was a dynamic playmaker on defense for Warren in the spring. He’s a player that can make an impact at any position in the secondary. He shows great ball skills and closing speed in coverage. He’s a reliable tackler in run support and comfortable playing close to the LOS with lateral speed to tackle sideline-to-sideline. Given his versatility, Hancox projects as a FS or CB at the next level. He currently holds an offer from Hawaii with additional interest coming from Power 5 schools.

Nico Brown Nico Brown 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Edison | 2022 State CA – Edison
Brown is a talented playmaker with the ball in his hands. He excelled as a slot receiver in the spring totaling 40 catches and 9 tds and being named the Sunset League Offensive POY. He has soft hands and the ability to catch in traffic over the middle or go up over defenders on deep routes. He shows great balance, strength, and speed running after the catch. Brown’s a true student-athlete with a 4.4 GPA and Ivy League offers from Dartmouth and Penn. Look for Brown to have another big season for Edison and potentially be a late-bloomer on the recruiting trail.

Kejuan Bullard Kejuan Bullard 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH San Pedro | 2022 State CA – San Pedro
Bullard is a versatile two-way athlete lining up at WR/DB. As a receiver, he shows an incredible catch radius with long arms and soft hands. He accelerates quickly off the line and shows great footwork/burst in and out of his cuts. His natural athleticism and body control will translate well at receiver in college. So far he’s picked up offers from Eastern Washington and Idaho.

Dwayne McDougle Dwayne McDougle 6'0" | 190 lbs | ATH Berkeley | 2022 State CA – McClymonds
McDougle will be a standout in the McClymonds secondary this season. He’s a ballhawking DB with exceptional ball skills and reliable hands. He’s a skilled safety that covers deep extremely well and is a physical tackler in space. McDougle is off to a solid start this season after posting two interceptions and a touchdown in McClymonds’ week one victory over Tamalpais. He currently holds offers from Sacramento St. and Southern Utah.

Alex Rocha Alex Rocha 6'2" | 200 lbs | ATH Bakersfield | 2022 State CA – Bakersfield
The Sacramento St. commit will be senior leader for the Bakersfield defense. Rocha was a ball magnet at ILB in the spring filling gaps aggressively and tracking down ball-carriers on outside runs. He has good size at 6’2 200 lbs., with the frame to play inside or outside backer at the next level depending on how his body develops. Rocha will certainly be a name to watch in Central California this season.

Sione Laulea Sione Laulea 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Serra | 2022 State CA – Serra
At 6’3 185 lbs., Laulea is a long and rangy athlete playing the CB spot. He’s a strong cover corner with a strong foundation of fundamentals/technique and raw physical talent. His length and athleticism offer tremendous upside at the CB position with the potential to turn into a dominant player in man coverage. Laulea picked up his first offer in early August from Sacramento St. and should continue to attract more schools with a strong senior season.
