Thee best QBs proved why they are some of the highest ranked in the country and others are proving week by week that they have enough talent to play somewhere at the next level.
Here are some of the top QBs performances from week 2 of the season…
Gunner Stockton Gunner Stockton 6'1" | 220 lbs | QB Rabun County | 2022 State GA – Rabun County
On national television, the Rabun County star proved why he’s one of the nation’s best as he threw and ran all over Pace Academy in a 47-14 win on Saturday night. Stockton showed off his D1 arm strength all night long and was able to hit his receivers in stride on a consistent basis. He was excellent in the screen game and the underneath passes, but he also showed that he can sling the ball accurately down the field.
Stockton was responsible for seven touchdowns Saturday night while accumulating over 500 yards of total offense during the win. He ran the ball with power and force, also showing great pocket presence and the ability to scramble and turn a busted play into a big one. The elite QB was unstoppable Saturday night and has the Rabun County offense rolling as they head into the meat of their schedule.

Malachi Singleton Malachi Singleton 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB North Cobb | 2023 State GA – North Cobb
He didn’t light up the state sheet from a passing standpoint, but he was the best player on the field in North Cobb’s massive 40-14 win over 7A powerhouse Milton. Singleton was absolutely dominant when running the ball and found his way into the end-zone five times during the game. He was effective, showed leadership, and broke tackles all night long. He rushed for over 200 yards from his QB spot and was unstoppable down by the goal-line. When the Warrior’s offense needed a play, Singleton was there to make it. He put the team on his back and led them to a giant win in the biggest 7A game of the weekend.

Robbie Roper Robbie Roper 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Roswell | 2022 State GA – Roswell
After an incredible season-opener in week 1 where ehe threw for 450 yards and 6 touchdowns, the Roswell Hornet followed that up with another monster game in week two as he led his squad to a big 40-14 win over cross-town rival Centennial. Roper threw for 325 yards and five more TDs, giving him 11 passing touchdowns through the first two games of the season. Against Centennial, Roper showeed off his big arm and proved he’s as accurate as anyone in the region when throwing the ball deep. He reads defenses well, shows good footwork in the pocket, and looked incredibly poised while doing it. He throws a very catchable ball and showed that he can make a big throw under pressure as well. He might be the hottest QB in the state right now, and if he keeps it up, it looks like he’ll be one of the state’s leading passers come December.

Aaron Philo – Prince Avenue Christian
They may have lost five-star QB Brock Vandagriff Brock Vandagriff 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian School | 2021 State GA from last year, but it appears Prince Avenue has found their QB of the future in Aaron Philo. The impressive sophomore has no problem filling big shoes and had his breakout game this past weekend in a big 59-18 win over Christian Academy of Knoxville. Philo won the game with his arm, throwing for 554 yards (a school record) and 5 passing touchdowns while rushing for two more scores. He did everything asked of him and showed that he has the ability to lead this team deep into the playoffs. He controlled the offense, made good decisions with the football, and showed off his raw arm talent. Look for him to continue having an excellent 2021 season the rest of the way.
