Today, we evaluate the games that some of the top running backs in the Prep Redzone Indiana prospect database had. These players had electric starts to their seasons. All of these student-athletes will be hoping for bigger and better in Week 2.

Scoring a touchdown just once creates a feeling of invigoration. Now, imagine how ecstatic one must feel after scoring five touchdowns in a single game. Noah Mungia Noah Mungia 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB New Prairie | 2023 State IN knows that feeling well as that is exactly what he did in Week 1. Mungia found the end zone on five separate occasions. On top of that, he amassed 324 rushing yards. Mungia averaged slightly under 10 yards per carry. He was the workhorse running back, carrying the ball 33 times. At one point, Mungia managed to rip off a 41-yard run.

Colin Price Colin Price 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Zionsville Community | 2022 State IN started off his senior season with an even 200 yards on the ground last week. Similar to Mungia, Price saw plenty of action, carrying 28 times. But when your running back is averaging over 7 yards per carry, why not? Price scored two touchdowns. His longest run was a crucial 30-yarder. If Colin Price Colin Price 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Zionsville Community | 2022 State IN can keep this pace up, Zionsville Community will have a good shot at returning to Lucas Oil Stadium this year.
Lavarion Logan Lavarion Logan 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Merrillville | 2022 State IN , 5’11, 205 pounds, Merrillville, Senior
Lavarion Logan Lavarion Logan 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Merrillville | 2022 State IN is a pivotal player on both sides of the ball for Merrillville. He is a top-tier running back and linebacker. In Week 1, what he did in the running game was nothing shy of sensational. Logan rushed 24 times for a total of 186 yards. 44 of those yards came on what was his longest run of the evening. Logan averaged almost eight yards per carry last Friday. Even more impressive than that is the fact that he scored three touchdowns to begin his final season in a Merrillville uniform.
Anthony Schuh Anthony Schuh RB Triton | 2024 State IN , Triton, Sophomore
Anthony Schuh Anthony Schuh RB Triton | 2024 State IN is another talented two-way player who also plays linebacker. Considering that he is only a sophomore, what he did in Week 1 must have given Triton fans plenty of excitement. Schuh toted the ball 25 times. He gained 155 yards on the ground and he had a great average of over six yards per carry. Schuh picked up a monster 51-yard gain. He went to the house two times, setting the tone for what could be a brilliant second season for him at Triton.
