Since then the Geals have lost graduate impact players QB Billy Atkins Billy Atkins 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Mt. St. Joes | 2021 State MD (JMU) and Donte Thornton Donte Thornton 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Mt. St. Joes | 2021 State MD Jr (Oregon). The Geals believe the one, two punch in the back field and big play WR Kibby will give them the offensive firepower they need. Defensively the Geals will look to its Senior inside linebackers and Junior FS in the defensive backfield for leadership.
Key Players
Bryce Cox Bryce Cox 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Mount Saint Joseph | 2023 State MD – #3 RB 2023
At 5’10 190lbs with a 4.47 40 Bryce is a D1 prototype back, in person the kid is a specimen. He has been showcasing his skills since the summer at camps and combines and it is translating into gameplay well. I’ve evaluated him in person at the FBU (Baltimore) Camp where he showed smooth hips/footwork and ability to catch out of the backfield. This past weekend he displayed break away speed and ball carrying vision on a long kick return for a TD.

Sean “Pup” Williams – #4 RB 5’10 178lbs
Pup is another back who I noticed at FBU (Baltimore). He has great footwork and does all of the little things right. Put the ball away after catches, carry the ball high and tight, always accelerate and get vertical. Determined ball carrier who gets the extra yards.
Preseason Scrimmage Highlights
Winston Watkins – QB 2024 6’5 203lbs
Only a sophomore but Watkins has been very busy during the offseason. He attended the Elite11 camp in Philadelphia, Duke, UNC, WVU, and Penn State camps. He distributes the ball well and shows arm strength. Development and work ethic will not be a problem for this kid. Personally I would constantly see him working out at a local high school during this offseason, I can expect a good year for this young QB1. The Gaels should be excited to see how his season rolls out.
Dominic Kibby – WR 2022 5’11 165lbs
Kibby was the main attraction for the Gaels in Saturdays scrimmage. He displayed his big play ability with a deep contested jump ball snag, a deep ball for a TD, and a huge punt return that put the Gaels in the red zone.
Dominic Kibby climbs the ladder in scrimmage vs Franklin.

At 6’2 175lbs Davis is another D1 prospect on this MSJ roster. Watching Davis during 7on7 tournaments his range and physicality stood out.
