The team went from a pretty consensus top 3 (or even the number 1 ranked team in the state) to a below 500 team. They did end up turning it on at the end of the season with a three-game win streak during which they outscored opposing teams 112-16. Unfortunately, Valley ended up fighting COVID-19, and the Tigers were forced to forfeit the game against longtime rival Dowling Catholic for a chance to play at the Dome.

Standout Game: Week 4 vs. Waukee. I think Mason Morrow Mason Morrow 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Valley | 2022 State IA will have his best game against Waukee this upcoming season. Waukee’s talent will be spread across two teams moving forward, and Mason had a pretty good game against Waukee’s full roster, considering it was his first full start. While he threw two interceptions in that game, experience may bolster his accuracy. I think Valley (in general) will be able to put up a lot of points against Waukee.
