Kenyon Clay Kenyon Clay 6'0" | 210 lbs | RB Union | 2022 State MS | QB | Union | SR
The signal caller from Union HS is easily one of the most dangerous weapons in the state with the football in his hands. Last season saw Clay pass for 17 TD’s and run for 27 more with nearly 3,000 yards of total offense. Clay is productive as a passer and will look to improve this season in the pass game while still letting his legs contribute. Clay has a physical build at 6″2, 210 lbs, and will have potential in many different areas on the college level. Southern Miss has secured the pledge from the senior signal caller.
Collin McGowan Collin McGowan 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Wesson | 2022 State MS | LB | Wesson | SR
For any college coaches still in the LB market, make sure and take a good long look at McGowan. The senior looks to build on a 2020 season that saw him make 152 total tackles in 11 games. McGowan is an old school LB who plays downhill with strength and grit. McGowan is undervalued on the recruiting scene at this time.
Deriaun Townsend Deriaun Townsend 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Winona | 2022 State MS | RB | Winona | SR
Townsend was a 1st team all-state RB as a JR last season with 1,117 yards and 16 TD’s in just seven games. A true home-run threat every time he touches the ball, his game has some obvious electricity to it. Expect Townsend to be a breakout name this fall.
Dicenzo Miller Jr. | RB | Kemper Co. | SR
The name Dicenzo Miller has been well recognized in the state of MS for a long time. Miller’s numbers as a JR opened eyes across the state with 1545 yards and 18 TD’s on the ground. Miller has no shortage of speed and make you miss ability and has a tremendous motor as one of the true leaders of the offense.
Will Loy Will Loy 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Wesson Attendance Center | 2023 State MS | QB | Wesson | JR
Loy had possibly the most impressive Sophomore season in the state in 2020. 168-262 passing for 2,759 yards with 39 TDs and 3 INTs. Elite production while taking care of the football showed for the underclassman thrown into the fire that is a starting QB’s life. Expect numbers to only improve as the recruitment of Loy continues to heat up.
