The movement starts at the very top where St. Mary’s dynamic wide receiver Kevin Coleman Kevin Coleman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR St. Mary's | 2022 State MO made a big jump from the fifth spot to the No. 1 player in the class, ahead of some talented defensive linemen in Burroughs’ Tyson Ford Tyson Ford 6'4" | 260 lbs | DL John Burroughs | 2022 State MO (Notre Dame commitment), Boonville’s DJ Wesolak DJ Wesolak 6'5" | 225 lbs | LB Boonville | 2022 State MO and St. Charles’ Marquis Gracial Marquis Gracial 6'4" | 310 lbs | DL St. Charles | 2022 State MO (Missouri).
Coleman is an undersized wide receiver, but he’s a difference maker whenever he takes the field. He scored 12 touchdowns (eight receiving, two rushing, two on returns) in just four games during his shortened junior season a year ago and racked up 500 total yards (426 receiving) and 721 all-purpose yards in those games.
The St. Mary’s standout has racked up more than 30 scholarship offers from coast to coast from just about every major college football program you can think of. His recruitment will be one of the big stories to watch over the next several months before Signing Day.
Another big mover in the Top 10 is Gracial, a University of Missouri commitment who has continued to attract a lot of attention and recently took a visit to check out Alabama.
Gracial, the top defensive tackle prospect in the rankings, moved up from No. 10 to the fourth spot. He racked up 29 tackles and three sacks in five games a year ago as a junior.
Domonique Orange Domonique Orange 6'3" | 295 lbs | DL North Kansas City | 2022 State MO , another big defensive tackle, moved up from No. 12 to the sixth spot.
The 300-pounder from North Kansas City has blown up on the recruiting trail and attracted offers from Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia and Oregon among others. Coleman, Wesolak and Orange are the only remaining uncommitted prospects in the Top 10.
Two more prospects who made big moves into the top 10 spots are Parkway West wide receiver Ja’Marion Wayne Ja’Marion Wayne 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Parkway West | 2022 State MO (Missouri) and Festus tight end Kaian Roberts-Day Kaian Roberts-Day 6'4" | 255 lbs | TE Festus | 2022 State MO (Baylor).
Wayne, the second-highest rated wide receiver prospect in the class, moved up from No. 29 to No. 8, while Roberts-Day, the top-ranked tight end, moved up from No. 22 to No. 9.
