One of those teams is Immokalee. Through the years, the Indians have produced their share of talent – who have gone on to the next level and beyond.
With former star at Immokalee, Johnny Smith beginning his second season, things are starting to turn around with several prospects making a commitment to getting better.
As things begin to change, the senior class will be huge in this transition.
Prospects such as Travis Brooks (OL/DL, 5-9, 255 – 2.8 GPA), David Gregorio-David (SS/TE, 5-9, 190 – 2.45 GPA), Joaquin Pena (OL, 5-11, 250 – 3.2 GPA) and Robert Turrubiartez (TE/DE, 5-11, 150 – 3.2 GPA.
BUILDING FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE
The Indians are really making a push with Class of 2023 juniors Dannie Alameda (WR/CB, 5-4, 135 – 2.5 GPA), Elijah Allen (WR), Cam Coe (WR/DB, 5-11, 155), Mauricio Gonzalez (OL/DL), David Hernandez (OL/DL – 2.9 GPA), Jacques Marcellus (WR/S, 5-8, 170) and defensive lineman Julien Vera (5-6, 185).
The Class of 2024 prospects could be the group that helps to continue to turn things around – with Lance Alvarado (LB, 5-6, 135), Mario Garcia (DE), Luck Jean-Baptiste (RB, 5-8, 198 – 2.56 GPA), Jumson Jorcely (DB, 5-6, 130), Isaac Martinez (OL/DL, 5-10, 270 – 2.5 GPA) and versatile Chandron Pierre (5-10, 140 – 2.7 GPA).
In addition, look for Curtis Reyna (RB/LB, 5-6, 165 – 2.9 GPA), Jose Sanchez Jr. (WR), Donison Seme (LB, 6-0, 185), Aiden Soto (OL/DL – 3.0 GPA) and Daverstenison St. Fort (RB/WR, 5-7, 150).
