To make the commitments even more impressive, both commits were in the Prep RedZone Arkansas top five for the 2022 class. We are going to take a look at each commit and what the commitments mean to Oregon and Northwestern.
Isaiah Sategna Isaiah Sategna 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Fayetteville-Oregon Ducks Commit
Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff have been focused on bringing out recruits that have excellent speed. The Fayetteville wide receiver has the rare speed that you find in track stars. Sategna will give the Oregon Ducks a player that can stretch the field and create problems for opposing Pac-12 defenses. Last season, Sategna was on the receiving end of seven touchdown passes. Meanwhile, he hauled in 41 receptions and accounted for 814 yards through the air. The Ducks will get a player that will compete in everything, and he has the potential to have a monster 2021 season.
Joe Himon Joe Himon 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Pulaski Academy | 2022 State AR -Running Back-Pulaski Academy-Northwestern Wildcats Commit
Pulaski Academy running back Joe Himon Joe Himon 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Pulaski Academy | 2022 State AR fits the Northwestern offense like a glove. Himon is one of the most versatile running backs in the state of Arkansas. He was a nightmare for opposing teams to contend all season last season. Himon racked up 1,925 yards rushing, 1.068 yards receiving, and he had 32 total touchdowns. The Northwestern Wildcats love for the running backs to be versatile and be effective in pass routes and Himon fits those descriptions to a tee. Himon’s speed and elusiveness makes him a nightmare to bring down in the open field. Meanwhile, in Himon’s senior season look for him to find the end zone plenty of times and put-up impressive numbers throughout the season.
The season is approaching rapidly, Himon and Sategna each have the potential to explode this season. Each have the speed and are creative with the football. The 2021 season should be a fun one for Fayetteville and Pulaski Academy fans. The best is yet to come for both terrific athletes.
