THE TAYLOR FILE
Mason Taylor Mason Taylor 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 FL
POSITION: TE
CLASS: 2022
SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas
HEIGHT: 6-5

WHAT ARE COACHES MISSING: If you happen to be the son of a professional football player, the pressure to live up to what they did is always present. But what about a Hall of Famer?
For Isaiah Taylor (a freshman at the University of Arizona) and his younger brother Mason, who is a senior tight end at Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, having a dad who is a Hall of Fame defensive end, is never easy. Add in the fact that the dad, Jason Taylor, is the Defensive Coordinator for the two-time defending 7A state champion Raiders, and all bets are off.
Jason Taylor the Hall of Famer, who spent most of his brilliant career with the Miami Dolphins, expects no less from his own kids than he does for his team, which is rated nationally once again as the 2021 season is coming closer.
What Mason Taylor Mason Taylor 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 FL has become is a big-time prospect. A 6-5, 230-pounder, who can do it all – and with offers from Pittsburgh, Alabama, Auburn and Arizona – this is someone who has a chance to be very special.
Just like any other member of the team, Mason has worked hard to put himself in a position, where he is going to be one of the catalysts in a season that will be loaded with competition and providing several forums for him to further put himself out there.
Like every other member of the St. Thomas Aquinas program, there is no special treatment. In fact, his dad is always finding ways to slow his own son down during scrimmages. After all, what would you expect from a Taylor family that has always achieved with hard work and dedication being the road to success.
