In what is one of the most difficult conferences in the state of Arkansas, Two Rivers is just looking to start doing the little things right to build momentum. We are going to take a look at the Two Rivers Gators. Key players and how the conference will shake out for the Gators. In 2021, the opportunity to improve is going to be there and all of the Gators will be working toward that goal.
Two Rivers will have experience returning at the quarterback position this season. Riley Dunman Riley Dunman 5'9" | 175 lbs | QB Two Rivers | 2022 State AR will open the season as the signal caller for the Gators. Dunman has displayed that he is not afraid to get out of the pocket and use his legs to pick up first downs. Meanwhile, he has shown that he throws an accurate football and find his wide receivers.
Meanwhile, the Gators have several options that they can turn to running the football. In 2020, Zach Noblett rushed for over 400 yards. Noblett showed that he can be a running back that is difficult to bring down. Two Rivers has multiple running backs that they can challenge the opposing defense with this season. James Moss is a running back that has good speed and can give the opposing defense headaches in the running game. The rushing attack is going to be a valuable facet of the game for the Gators.
The Gators are going to need some wide receivers to step up and have big seasons this season. Dominic Dailey Dominic Dailey 6'0" | 145 lbs | WR Two Rivers | 2023 State AR was able to get involved in the offense impressively. Dailey runs good routes and has the speed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Anthony Loppe is another wide receiver for the Gators that has consistent route running. Loppe can get open by using his speed and experience to create the separation needed from the opposing defensive back.
On the defensive side of the ball, have experienced players returning at the linebacker and defensive secondary. James Moss works on the defensive side of the ball as well as the offensive side of the ball. Moss racked up 72 tackles last season. In the secondary, Dominic Dailey Dominic Dailey 6'0" | 145 lbs | WR Two Rivers | 2023 State AR can terrorize opposing wide receivers with how physical he plays. Dailey has a nose for the football and picked off several passes last season. The defense has a chance to surprise some people this season.
2021 Predictions:
Two Rivers is in a difficult conference and will need to avoid injuries this season to make some noise in the conference. The potential is there to sneak up on a few teams and build some momentum. I expect Two Rivers to get off the winless snide this season.
