Jakobe Watkins – Belleville – IOL – 6’3″ 290 lbs
Watkins is a perfect example of players that can be overlooked. In Indiana or Ohio Watkins is a 4-star recruit. He’s very well-built and lean for his size. He bends well and is great at the point of attack. He’s currently only a 3-star recruit and has offers from Kentucky and Akron. The Kentucky offer is nice but being blunt this man has NFL potential if he gets into the right program.
Joey Thede Joey Thede 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Lake Orion | 2022 State MI – Lake Orion Community – DL – 6’3″ 220 lbs
Thede is a really good length and is slender enough to get around the edge. His upper body seems pretty stiff but that could just be the fact he’s so young and doesn’t properly know how to control his body. The right DL coach will teach those mechanics. He’s got a good bust and effort at the point of attack. He’s currently got offers from Akron, Central Michigan, and Toldeo. He’s a 3-star recruit so he’s got some attention coming his way this fall.
Tyree Lockett – Belleville – WR – 6’1″ 165 lbs
Tyree Lockett is listed at 6’1″ but according to his personal Twitter he’s listed at 6’0″. He’s a player with great control of his body and finesse of the body. He’s great at high-pointing the ball and coming down with it. He could be a very good route runner if he works on some footwork but he’s got enough tools to get by until then. He’s got the attention of the University of Marshall. They’ve been the first hot on his trail and offered him on the spot.
Tyler Bivens Tyler Bivens 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB Ann Arbor Huron | 2022 State MI – Huron – CB – 6’1″ 165 lbs
Bivens is a very scrappy corner. He’s got great arm length and can break up passes with ease. He’s listed as a 3-star recruit and has a plethora of offers from schools like Notre Dame College, Purdue, Toledo, and so on. He’s got the god-gifted ability to play at a very high level. If he gets a shot at a big-name program watch out. He could really blow up into something.
Dayne Arnett Dayne Arnett 6'5" | 230 lbs | DL Grand Haven | 2022 State MI – Grand Haven – DL – 6’6″ 245 lbs
Arnett is on here because he is very interesting. He fits in between a LB and DE. He isn’t well-built for either but isn’t poorly built either. He’s got a very unique body and set of skills. He could play both positions it just depends on what direction he wants to go. The 3-star recruit has an offer from Central Michigan as a defensive end and an offer from Youngstown State as a linebacker. He can pick either direction and it makes you wonder how far he can go with the right coaching staff.
