Prep Redzone looks at a few players that we think you should monitor in the Baltimore County area this upcoming season. These teams saw their 2020 season wiped out because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We gathered as much information as possible on returning 2022 and 2023 players. Some teams had little for me to go on but that may change towards the start of this season.

I’m impressed with the way Banks extends his arms when he engages offensive linemen. That keeps them away from his body. Banks’ ability to get pressure on the quarterback caused a few turnovers and/or bad throws on his highlights.

Woodward is currently Prep Zone's No. 64 overall player and No. 6 running back from the state of Maryland in his class. Woodard’s high school team did not play during the 2020-2021 season. He ran for 1,280 yards and 17 rushing touchdowns during the 2019 season.

[player_tooltip player_id="137053" first="Rodney" last="Nelson"]/RB/2022
Nelson is Prep Redzone's No. 2 running back in the state of Maryland in his class. His nickname is “The Jet”. After watching his highlights, it’s easy to see why. His game speed is FAST. He carried the football 35 times for 459 yards and four touchdowns during Maryland’s spring high school football season. He’s currently under-the-radar due to not being able to play in the fall. I don’t see how colleges will not be impressed with him after watching his spring highlights. Despite not having any offers, his efforts were strong enough to land him at the No 2 spot.
