Burr is a determined young man, and he knows what must be accomplished going into the 2021 season. He takes and accomplishes everything with a step-by-step attitude. Burr knows the first step is to earn varsity snaps and make the varsity team. The next step on the defensive side of the ball is continuing to put the work in the weight room. Meanwhile, the team goals are to win a conference championship and make a run to earn a state championship. All the goals we have discussed are goals that can be accomplished and achieved.
Look at Burr’s game and how he plays on the defensive side of the ball is always fun to do. Burr has the potential be a nightmare on the defensive side of the ball using his impressive speed. He does a good job of using the quickness to get out of the stance and into the opposing offensive linemen. Burr has the versatility to move inside and disrupt the opponent’s rushing game at the defensive tackle position as well.
However, Burr has displayed solid play on the offensive side of the ball. The work that Burr puts in will start to become evident over the next few seasons. The work ethic is there, as is the team first attitude and being willing to do anything to help the team advance. He is going to be a player to keep an eye over the next few seasons. As the 2024 class continues to develop, one thing is becoming clear, it has the potential to be a deep class. As for whether it will be as deep as the 2022 class that remains to be seen.
