Grabbing the Spotlight: AJ Beale Athlete Cross County
One player that has started to grab the spotlight this offseason has been Cross County athlete AJ Beale AJ Beale 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR Cross County | 2022 State AR . Beale has played all over the field for Cross County and the 2021 season has the potential to be an impressive one. The work he has put in the offseason is going to cause people to take a long look at him this season.
Beale has played the running back, safety, and the quarterback position. He is extremely effective at all three positions. Beale is an explosive player that has a second gear when he gets into the open field. Fans and scouts should look for Cross County to line Beale up all over the field again this season.
Meanwhile, Beale has both individual and team goals that he would like to accomplish this coming season. On the individual side of things, Beale wants to have the opportunity to earn All-Conference and All-State honors. To accomplish those goals Beale is going to continue to work on his footwork and continue to become a more explosive player. Beale has worked all summer on reading defenses and on breaking down opposing defenses as he prepares for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, on the team goals side of things, Cross County wants to play hard and just compete for four quarters.
The rest of the summer is going to be a busy period of time for Beale. He is going to be taking part in 7-on-7 tournaments and working in team camps. Beale is going to take the ACT in a few weeks. The young man does everything on and off the field that scouts are looking for in a prospect. He has a 3.8 grade point average and is looking to close out his high school career on a strong note, both on and off the field. Beale has an excellent opportunity to explode this season and he has the potential to be playing on Saturdays in the fall. Get out there and watch him on Friday nights Cross County and Beale could put together some special performances over the season.
