One of those programs is Blessed Trinity. It’s a small program in Roswell that breeds toughness, has intelligent players, and are always coached extremely well. They are loaded once again coming into the 2021 season and have multiple future D1 players on the roster.
Here are few players to know at Blessed Trinity going into the 2021 season…
Justice Haynes Justice Haynes 5'10" | 205 lbs | RB Buford | 2023 State GA – Running Back – 2023
At Blessed Trinity, it all starts with star running back, Justice Haynes Justice Haynes 5'10" | 205 lbs | RB Buford | 2023 State GA . The 5-foot-10 195-pounder is arguably the top running back in the state and is coming off a tremendous sophomore season where he rushed for 1,750 yards and 25 touchdowns. He checks all the boxes at running back, showing speed, toughness, vision, balance, and maybe most importantly, the ability to break tackles. He’s in great physical shape and has soft hands out of the backfield as well. He has all the talent in the world as he stars on the diamond for the Titans in the spring. He’s one of the top 2023 backs in the country and he holds offers from Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, LSU, among others.
J.C French – Quarterback – 2022
Blessed Trinity won’t have to throw the ball too often this fall with two dynamic backs on the roster, but when they want too, they’ll be able to sling it around with French. One of the top 2022 QBs across the state, French is a strong-armed senior at 6-foot-1 205-pounds who holds offers from Virginia Tech, Tulane, Arkansas State, among others.
Ryan Scott – Defensive Line – 2022
The leader on defense for the Titans, Scott is a tough, hard-nosed lineman who will try to dominate in the trenches this fall. He has decent size at 6-foot-3 250-pounds but it’s his overall toughness and natural instincts that make him one of the best in 5A. He was an 1st-Team All-State selection last year and found a way to make plays all year. Whether he’s knocking the ball down, chasing down the QB, or stuffing holes against the run, Scott is always making an impact.
Evan Dickens – ATH – 2023
Another impact player in the 2023 class, Dickens is a good athlete that will play both CB and RB this upcoming season. At 5-foot-11 180-pounds, Dickens is a good runner who ran a 4.47 at the Atlanta Under Armour Camp back in March. He’ll be the backup running back to Justice Haynes Justice Haynes 5'10" | 205 lbs | RB Buford | 2023 State GA this season, but he’ll be an impact defensive back just like last season. Look for college coaches to give him a long look with a successful junior season.
Other notable players to know…
Ashton Abrew – Wide Receiver- 2022. Good route runner with strong hands. Will be used in the slot this year at receiver.
Jack Pirinelli Jack Pirinelli 6'1" | 240 lbs | OL Blessed Trinity Catholic | 2022 GA – DL/OL. 6-foot-0 230-pounds. Pirinelli is also the team’s long-snapper.
Deldrick Franklin – LB/FB – 2023 prospect who is tough, gritty, and loves contact. He’ll be a big weapon on both sides of the ball this season.
Maverick Torrico LB/FB – Instinctual linebacker who could have a breakout year. Will be in on a lot of tackles in the middle of the field.

Games to Know in 2021…
8/27 vs. Marist:
Marist is last year’s state champion and one of the biggest powerhouse programs in the state. These two teams are very similar and both play north of Atlanta in Fulton County. This is going to be one of the best games across the state this weekend and both have state championship expectations this fall. The winner of this game could tell us who could be the frontrunner for the title this winter.
9/17 at Eagles’ Landing Christian:
They might be Single A private, but make no mistake, ELCA is always a team with plenty of talent. They can play with the big boys, and they have this game against Blessed Trinity circled. Both are small schools with talent, so this game could come down to who wants it more in the end.
10/15 vs. Cartersville:
Always one of the biggest games of the season, this highly anticipated region matchup is always a great matchup. Cartersville is the winner of two recent state championships thanks to current Jacksonville Jaguar Trevor Lawrence, but it was Blessed Trinity who knocked the Purple Hurricanes out of the playoffs during his senior season. Look for this to be another huge matchup towards the end of the season.
