Under the Radar Prospects Poised for big 2021

No matter how observant coaches, scouts, and sports writers are players always can slip under the radar. Prep RedZone Arkansas tries every few weeks to identify prospects that have been flying under the radar. We are going to examine some prospects that are flying under the radar, meanwhile at the same time having the potential for a big 2021 season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="152083" first="Chris" last="Gannaway"]-Running Back-Bryant-2023</strong> The Bryant running back has excellent speed. He has recently 4.49 second 40-yard dash and is a nightmare to bring down. Gannaway is an explosive running back rushing between the tackles. However, he is extremely dangerous as a receiver out of the backfield. Opposing defenses are going to have a difficult time trying to account for Gannaway this season. Gannaway is a player that has division one talent, and he is someone to keep an eye on this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="163419" first="Jaden" last="Jones"]-Defensive Back-Jacksonville-2023</strong> At 6-4 and 180-pounds, Jones has hard-hitting safety written all over him. Jones is an extremely athletic defensive back that can hit wide receivers hard. He has good hands and is a player that can take the ball the other direction for a pick six. Jones is a player to watch this season for the Jacksonville Titans. He has the size and the speed to be a division player and is a player that has the potential to blow up this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149579" first="Dax" last="Goff"]-Linebacker-Booneville-2024</strong> Goff has the potential to be one of the best linebackers in the state this season. The young man has exceptional speed and seems to be always around the ball carrier. Goff is extremely disruptive when he gets into the offensive backfield. He is a nightmare for the opposing offensive line to account for and block. Goff is a 2024 prospect that has division one potential written all over him. The Bearcats always are a well-coached team and that is the one thing scouts and coaches can expect, which is Goff will be well-coached. Look out for Goff this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107154" first="Mario" last="Crawford"]-Defensive Line-Valley View-2022</strong> Crawford is a nightmare for opposing offensive linemen to block and keep off of the quarterback. Anytime that you can find an edge rusher with 4.61 speed, you know that you have found something special. He uses that speed well to disrupt the offensive backfield. He uses his 6-4 frame well to disrupt the run and passing games. Crawford is an extremely versatile player that plays the tight end position on the offensive side of the ball. The young man can catch the ball and has the size and speed to opposing defenses. He is a player to keep an eye on this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136316" first="Cade" last="Forrester"]-Quarterback-Hoxie-2022</strong> Forrester is a quarterback with the talent to pick an opposing defense apart. He makes good decisions with the football, and he will not be careless with the ball. Forrester has a strong arm, however what impresses me the most is he extremely accurate with the football. He uses his legs well to escape the pocket and can be a nightmare for the opposing defense to bring down. Forrester is a player that has the potential to have an excellent 2021 season. Look out for Hoxie this season they will be a fun team to watch.
