You will definitely hear more of these names during the season and in the headlines for making plays or committing to big-time schools at the next level. Let’s dive right into it and see who are the top senior defensive linemen who earned their way onto our rankings and are worthy of keeping an eye out for this season.
Enyce Sledge Enyce Sledge 6'4" | 300 lbs | DL Neville | 2022 State LA | 6’4″ 300 lbs | DL | Neville | 2022
Sledge is one linemen prospect in the state in his class. I’ve had the chance of seeing this guy compete in person at our showcase in Dallas, TX and boy can this big guy move. He is a special player who could play both sides of the ball but is a beast on that defensive line. His recruitment has really taken and off and he will be one of the best players to watch this season. He is very fast for a 300ilb, has a great explosion off the ball and strength is off the charts. Sledge has a large frame and long arms. He should have plenty of success in college and is projected to have future NFL draft potential.

Nick Williams Jr. Nick Williams Jr. 6'2" | 295 lbs | DL University Lab | 2022 State LA | 6’2″ 285 lbs | DL | University Lab | 2022
Nick is a nightmare for linemen and opposing quarterbacks. He can shoot out of his stance like a cannon and make his way into the backfield very quickly. He has the athleticism and speed to have a good pursuit of the ball. Should be a special player to watch this season. Holds offer to Akron, Nicholls State University, Louisiana Tech, and ULM to name a few.

Kells Bush Kells Bush 6'3" | 265 lbs | DL Edna Karr | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 265 lbs | DL | Edna Karr | 2022
Bush who holds offers to Akron and Memphis and has interest from schools like Florida State, Louisiana Tech, and Mississippi is definitely a prospect you need to know about this season. This is a special player for Edna Karr and he should have a good senior season full of excitement and big plays. Kells looks very versatile on that defensive line and can play the interior or rush of the edge. I think if he slimmed down and leaned out his frame a bit more, he could be one of those elite edge rushers. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this guy. Tremendous prospect with a lot of potential to be a great player at the next level.
Durrell Daigre Durrell Daigre 6'3" | 290 lbs | DL East St. John | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 290 lbs | DL | East St. John | 2022
Durrell is a dangerous interior lineman who can make some big plays happen and plug up that defensive line. He showed a good first step and a great punch with a full extension to almost benchpress blockers off of him. He has some improvements he can make here and there to his game but he is still one to keep your eye on this coming up season.
Hustle, hit, and never quit.

Quintin Cook Quintin Cook 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL New Iberia | 2022 State LA | 6’4″ 250 lbs | DL | New Iberia | 2022
Coaches if you don’t know you should know the name Quintin Cook Quintin Cook 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL New Iberia | 2022 State LA . He is an elite player off the edge who can cause havoc in opposing backfields. He has the requisite size at 6’4 250 lbs, he already has the size as many colleges and or NFL linemen. He shows a dangerous bull rush and can knock offensive linemen back into their own quarterbacks. Cook maintains a good pad level, good hand moves, paired with his speed and strength make him a matchup nightmare. It’s always the guys towards the bottom of our rankings that I find impressive the most. I think Cook will be one who could surpass a bunch of players at his position on our list this season and is most certainly an FBS/FCS type of prospect with a high ceiling for success in college. I think he will continue to improve and add more mass to his frame as time goes on and at the next level. Wow, what a special player.
