Larry Robinson – QB – Saline High School
Robinson is a great talent in an interesting spot. He is a 3-star recruit who is turning heads right now. He has everyone intrigued and they are watching. You are looking at a 6’0″ and 170 lb QB with a ton of upside heading into his senior year.
Robinson is a dual-threat QB who is a great runner. Robinson is constantly making other defenders look silly and making something out of nothing. He is a very light frame the way he stands right now. His throwing mechanics are fine, but nothing special. He can make all the throws and throw on the run which helps set him apart.
He currently has offers from Central Michigan, Army, and Navy. Army and Navy run read-option and RPO-type offenses. Those schools fit his skill sets very well. If he has a huge fall he could receive an offer from a school like Georgia Tech where they use a similar offense and have a great sense of history.
Brandon Mann Brandon Mann 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB Detroit Country Day | 2022 State MI – QB – Detroit Country Day
Mann enters his senior year as a 0-star recruit. It almost comes across as odd seeing that this young man is 6’4″ and 225 lbs. Having a huge senior year could really put him on the map, and at this point, he needs it.
Mann is your average Pro-Style QB. He has great touch and can drop the ball into a bucket from a mile away. He towers over the line and can see everything decently from a pre-snap perspective.
Despite his 0-star grade, Mann is still garnering a ton of interest and has a few offers. Bowling Green, Findlay (D-2 Powerhouse), and Northern Illinois. With a good senior season, he could receive offers from bigger schools. He is not in a bad spot right now, but could easily gain a lot this fall.
Mike DePillo Mike DePillo 6'5" | 200 lbs | QB Clarkston | 2022 State MI – QB – Clarkston High School
DePillo enters his senior year with all eyes on him. Everyone knows who he is and has big expectations entering his last year. The 3-star recruit comes into the year at 6’5″ and 200 lbs even.
DePillo is more of a Pro-Style QB with a decent arm. He doesn’t have the strongest arm or the best touch but he is way more than capable for the next level. He has decent legs when it comes to rolling out and extending plays down the field.
DePillo does only have 1 offer. That offer is from Central Michigan. Teams are interested in him and are watching but they want to see that big jump. If that comes he is more than ready to jump on the opportunity. If all else fails, he can go to Central Michigan, which is still a very good program. DePillo is not in a bad spot by any means. He has a lot riding on his fall season and he probably knows it as well.
Decan Byle – QB – Catholic Central
Byle is a 2 star Pro-Style QB who stands out on and off the field. Good in the classroom and just as good on the field. Byle has interest from IVY league Yale where he currently sits on an offer.
Byle is 6’2″ and 175 lbs. So, he is a little light on the frame but with a good senior year and offseason in the weight room and he may be onto much bigger things beyond 2021.
Vinny Booth Vinny Booth 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Harper Woods | 2022 State MI – QB – Harper Woods
Booth is currently a 2-star recruit who it appears has slipped through the cracks some. He certainly has the talent as a 3 or 4-star player but hasn’t quite hit the nail on the head yet.
He only has 1 offer, from Morgan State, and is looking to receive more offers. He is a Pro-Style QB who can fit a multitude of levels of college ball. He has great touch and the ability to make some college level throws.
