We are going to examine and give some updates on how Arkansas prospects are doing in regards to recruiting and performance camps this offseason.
Jack Struebing Jack Struebing 6'1" | 265 lbs | OL Har-Ber | 2022 State AR -Offensive Line-Springdale Har-Ber-2022
Over the past two weeks, Struebing has been a busy man. He has taken official visits to Central Florida and Missouri. Both Central Florida and Missouri are schools that are vying hard for the Har-Ber Wildcat’s services. Struebing is a leader on the offensive line for the Wildcats and he has been a mainstay on the offensive line. He uses his excellent footwork and speed to cause problems for opposing defensive lineman. Struebing is a player that will be playing on Saturdays in the next two years. The work ethic is solid, and the young man is a leader, plain and simple.
Sharmon Rester Sharmon Rester 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB El Dorado | 2022 State AR -Quarterback-El Dorado-2022
One player that is lighting it up at performance camps and 7-on-7 tournaments this offseason has been Sharmon Rester Sharmon Rester 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB El Dorado | 2022 State AR . Last week, Rester was able to attend the Louisiana Tech camp and displayed a strong arm to the Bulldogs’ coaching staff. He throws an accurate ball and Rester has the strength to burn it into his receivers or take a little off of it to make it a catchable ball. Rester is going to be a steal for the college that signs him. He is a mobile quarterback and does a great job of keeping his eyes down the field to make the throw. Rester is a player to keep an eye on this season.
Isaiah Sategna Isaiah Sategna 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Fayetteville-2022
The Fayetteville wide receiver has had a busy couple of weeks. Sategna decommitted from Texas A&M and has been taking all of his visits and checking off boxes in the process. Meanwhile, during 7-on-7 play he has flashed that sprinter speed which makes him such a tough player for opposing defensive backs to cover. On Sunday, Sategna was able to name a final two for his services. The USC Trojans and the Oregon Ducks will battle it for Sategna as the recruiting battle heats up along with the summer.
Shamar Easter Shamar Easter 6'5" | 205 lbs | TE Ashdown | 2023 State AR -Tight End-Ashdown-2023
The Ashdown tight has had a busy summer. He has attended camps in Alabama, Clemson, and Arkansas and all the while he is racking up the scholarship offers. Easter makes it look easy. From running the routes to hauling in the tough receptions the game comes easy to him. The number one player in the state of Arkansas for 2023 is going to be an extremely popular young man in the coaching circles over the next few months. Keep an eye on Easter folks, his recruiting is just really starting to get interesting.
Parker Perry Parker Perry 6'4" | 175 lbs | WR Little Rock Parkview | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Little Rock Parkview-2022
One prospect that is going to catch plenty of eyes this season is Little Rock Parkview’s Parker Perry Parker Perry 6'4" | 175 lbs | WR Little Rock Parkview | 2022 State AR . Perry has had a busy couple of weeks and is performing well at performance camps as well as 7-on-7 tournaments. Perry has earned a scholarship offer from Middle Tennessee State. Last week he had an excellent camp at Tulane University. Perry may have been under the radar at one point but now he is starting to draw plenty of attention from scouts and college coaches. Keep an eye on Perry and Parkview, they both the potential to have a strong season.
