Size, speed and toughness is carried by many of its players whether they have offers or not. Below, we will dive into the film of some of the Central Valley’s top under-recruited prospects in the 2022 class.
DB Carlos Mack, Edison HS
Mack is a long and rangy defensive back that can play both cornerback and safety at the next level, but is more of a safety. He has an ideal frame for the position and natural hip fluidity in space while doing a good job in both press and off coverage while using his hands to jam/length to his advantage. He also has nice ball skills and adjusts well in the air while not afraid to come up and take on big backs and blockers. He is a balanced player that is a FBS caliber prospect without a doubt.
ILB Keanu Kuma, Washington Union HS
Kuma is one of the hardest hitters in the Valley. He is a throwback thumper that plays tackle to tackle while able to collapse the pocket and make open field tackles flashing deceptive closing speed. He diagnosis plays quickly and fills with good pad level and hip power upon contact while extremely physical at the point of attack and able to dial up pressure with good timing. On tape, he shows he shocks well and takes good angles to ball carriers in the box and outside the tackles while able to play all over the field. He is projected as an inside linebacker at the next level and should be able to find a home by signing day.
DB Cody Gale, Clovis HS
Gale is a long safety that is all over the field that covers a ton of ground and can play sideline to sideline. He is a very strong open field tackler that takes good angles without wasted movement. Seemingly very fluid in space, he is a natural hip flipper that does not lose speed in transition while playing with natural instincts and PBU abilities. He is a FCS+ caliber player and should see college interest come his way.
ATH Tyrece Fairly Tyrece Fairly 6'2" | 220 lbs | ATH Edison | 2022 State CA , Edison HS
Fairly is a terrific overall athlete that can play all over the field on both sides of the ball and offers nice upside at the next level. He currently holds one offer from New Mexico but should see others pour in in the coming months leading up to his Senior season. He is a big bodied prospect with good length and natural strength with room to grow and pack muscle on his frame. A rare combination of size and speed, he is a sure fire FBS caliber kid at the next level, regardless of position.
