It is the perfect time for these players to gain interest from recruiters, and for them to visit multiple programs. These are five players that have stood out during the early portion of camp season.
Caden Rhamy – Paola, 6’3”, 230, LB
Rhamy had a huge day while performing at the recent Central Missouri camp. Heading into the camp it was known that Rhamy was a physical specimen, but his performance displayed how athletic he is. He ran a 4.61 in the 40, a 4.38 in the 3-Cone drill, and he hit a little over 33 inches in the vertical. To top it off, Rhamy was named Defensive MVP of the camp. Rhamy has also added another strong showing while attending a camp at Pittsburg State University.

Akins has taken part in some notable camps in this early part of June. He lined up against talent at Oklahoma State, Kansas State, and Iowa State within the past week. Akins showed why he is one of the top defensive backs in our player rankings. He was able to jam receivers off the line, stick to their hip, use his length to deflect passes and have a smooth transition when flipping his hips in coverage.
