Today we look at prospects from 5A District 10. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Efrem Only- Clearwater High
5’9 170lbs
Only is a nice Prospect from Clearwater High, last season he split time with several other backs and led the team in rushing with 338 yards and a touchdown, he averaged over 5 yards per carry. He looked good during the Spring and I expect him to have a huge season.
Strengths: patient runner, good balance, when he sees a hole sticks his foot in the ground and shows very good burst and acceleration, he’s not the biggest back, but he will lower his shoulder and shows the ability to run with power (squats 335lbs).

Jamarian Miller- Anclote High c/o 24
Miller is a sophomore prospect who is going to be tasked with taking over for one of Anclote’s best backs in recent years in Thomas Crawford, he played mostly defense last season, but lined up in the backfield during the Spring and showed a lot of ability running the ball.
Strengths: he’s a jitterbug type runner, has nice agility and quickness, runs with a natural low center of gravity and has really good balance.

Lance Miller- Dunedin High
5’7 160lbs
Dunedin will look for Miller to handle the rock this season for them on offense, he was second on the team last season rushing for 299 yards, one touchdown, and averaged over 7.5 yards per carry
Strengths: he’s a two-way player that also plays defensive back, most of his film is on the defensive side, but the film he has on offense he shows good lateral agility and quickness.

Tra’quan Johnson Tra’quan Johnson 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR St. Petersburg Gibbs | 2023 FL – Gibbs High c/o 23
6’0 190lbs
Johnson is a fantastic sophomore prospect for Gibbs High, he’s a two-way player that also lines up at receiver and completely either position at the next level. Coaches keep an eye on him because he will have a very good season this year and open a lot of eyes.
Strengths: slashing style runner, shows outstanding acceleration and straight-line speed, runs with big-time power and leg drive, he’s a versatile do-it-all player that can transition to the receiver position seamlessly.

Sammy Miller Sammy Miller 5'10" | 160 lbs | RB St. Petersburg Gibbs | 2023 FL Jr.- Gibbs High c/o 23
5’10 170lbs
Miller forms a very good one-two punch with Johnson, together they could be the best backfield tandem in the district. Gibbs offense will be one of the harder offenses to stop this season and Miller will be a big part of that reason.
Strengths: has good vision and can hit the hole with acceleration, shows good strength and can break arm tackles after contact, also a very effective blocker.

A.J. Blanton- Gulf High
5’9 180lbs
Blanton is a outstanding prospect that transferred to Gulf High this offseason from Dunedin. He was first team All-Pasco County and was also the 4A Region 3 player of the year! He rushed for 728 yards and five touchdowns. On defense he had 61 tackles, three sacks, 8.5 tackles-for-loss, and 1 int.
Strengths:he’s a stoutly built back that shows a lot of versatility, he’s very quick and a one-cut runner that hits holes quickly as soon as he sees them open up, has power to run through tackles, balance and soft hands receiving. He’s a three-down back that should be getting quite a few looks the season from schools.
