Finishing 4-3, head coach Ryan Onkka and his Wildcats had their chances in every game they played in 2020.
This has become a program that sets lofty goals when the season begins. That is exactly why this past year was indeed frustrating for this program.
With losses to then defending 6A state runner up Pensacola Escambia (28-20), improving Pensacola Pine Forest (14-6) and Pace (24-20), you can see why it was so frustrating. The Wildcats were in every game.
In beating, Tate (44-0), Pine Forest (23-7), Pensacola (47-7) and Milton (29-20), plenty of confidence was gained.
This spring and into the summer will shine the spotlight on the rising senior class (2022), who will be looked upon to make an impact.

HOW IS THE FUTURE? 2023 PROSPECTS ARE READY
While the seniors will step up and make an impact, the rising junior (2023) class will be stacked with prospects who have a chance to make the program very competitive this coming season.
