Egan showed how well he could move on Saturday in Bettendorf. When I watch his tape, I see a prospect that has defensive back written all over him. Egan has a solid vision in the secondary and is a super alert prospect when the ball is near. When he does show his quarterback reps on tape, he has a strong build despite coming into the Showcase at around 160 pounds, but he has a strong lower body to get his fair share of yards after contact.
Brayden Deem Brayden Deem 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Rockridge | 2022 State IL , QB, Rockridge (IL) (2022)

I came away very impressed with how fluid a ball thrower Deem was on Saturday. Deem’s film shows a quarterback prospect that throws the football over the middle of the field extremely well. Deem is one of the most relaxed quarterbacks I have seen in the pocket in the Midwest, as his poise is incredible. He doesn’t have the biggest zip on the ball but has a solid touch on all of his throws. He took a junior day visit to Augustana (SD) a couple of months ago, which I see as a great match for Deem at the next level in the Northern Sun.
Elijah Reese, QB, Rock Island (IL) (2022)

Reese caught my eye as a poised QB prospect that looked really light on his feet and threw the ball well on Saturday. Reese is the last player you want leaving the pocket as he’ll win the track meet every time with his fast burst to the inside lanes. You can see the difference in his game from So. year to Jr. year as you a Reese grew more patience and using his legs to extend plays to throw versus not seeing what he likes and just taking off to run. Reese has grown solid precision on his throws. He holds one Division II offer at the moment, and I am sure he will add more by the time fall football starts.
Jack Gilligan Jack Gilligan 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Dubuque Senior | 2022 State IA , QB, Dubuque Senior (2022)

Gilligan impressed me in the early drills as he had very effective footwork. When you watch his film, you see his athleticism as a four-sport athlete as he has a terrific touch on the football and has the legs to leave the pocket and run downhill at a fast yet relaxed pace. I think Gilligan can develop less height on his deepest throws. I also was impressed with his percison as most of his throws gave his WRs a chance to use their speed to get there. Gilligan has been getting mostly Division II interest at the moment.
Jamison Patton Jamison Patton 6'2" | 190 lbs | DB Des Moines Roosevelt | 2023 State IA , QB, Des Moines Roosevelt (2023)

Patton was a quarterback prospect I learned about a few weeks back at the Iowa 7v7 tournament in Cedar Falls and came away even more intrigued this time around by how versatile he was. Patton’s athleticism is second to none on film. Any throw he makes or anytime he leaves the pocket on the run, he makes it look effortless as he’s such a gifted athlete across the board. I saw his versatility on Saturday when he lined up at wide receiver for a few reps in which used his excellent footwork to make plays in the receiving core as well. You can tell Patton just loves the game and will be a Division I prospect someday.
Came away impressed with Des Moines Roosevelt QB Jamison Patton. I loved his live arm a few weeks back but this young man is super versatile and can line up anywhere as he showed some elusive steps at WR today. Super athlete. @jamisonpattonn @PrepRedzoneIA pic.twitter.com/XYIX0BzmNR
