Landon Dean Landon Dean 6'4" | 230 lbs | DL Frontenac | 2022 State KS is the #1 ranked DL and the #4 ranked player overall in the class of 2022. The 3 star DE has committed to Oklahoma State where he will play for a program that developed legendary defensive linemen such as Dexter Manley and Dan Hampton among others. He lines up in a 5T and 7T. He displays very good burst off the ball and penetrates into the backfield within the first couple of steps beating the OT with his excellent quickness and play speed. He uses his very good instincts to take the correct angle in pursuit of the RB and uses his play strength to bring down the RB with ease. As a pass rusher, he uses his play speed, motor and range effectively to pressure the QB and finishes up with a sack or a hurry.

Haven Lysell Haven Lysell 6'4" | 215 lbs | ATH Smoky Valley | 2022 State KS is the 6th ranked player and the 58th ranked player overall in the class of 2022. He had a very good Junior season as he made 70 tackles with 13.5 TFL, 1 interception, 1 sack, 2 passes defensed and a forced fumble. He plays as an ILB and OLB. Against the run, he uses his very good play strength and hand punch to stack the OT or TE at the point of attack and shed the base block with ease. He then uses his very play speed and athletic ability to catch the ball carrier in the backfield and is strong enough to bring down larger RB with force easily. Against the pass, he is able to quickly key and diagnose the play as he reads the QB, quickly gets to the RB on screen plays and uses his play strength in his upper and lower body to make the tackle preventing a big gain from happening. A very effective pass rusher who uses his great quickness to penetrate the line of scrimmage easily, doesn’t bite on the play fake and shows a very good motor to catch the QB and bring him down for a sack.

Trey Harmison Trey Harmison 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Riley County | 2022 State KS is the 10th ranked WR and the 61st ranked player in the class of 2022 overall. In 2020, he caught 27 passes for 661 yards (24.5 ypc) and 8 TD. He was also a threat as a rusher as he carried the ball 45 times for 466 yards (10.4 ypc) and 8 TD. He plays primarily in the slot. An excellent deep threat as he uses his very good play speed to get behind the nickel CB and the FS in cover 1 on vertical routes up the seam as well as on corner routes, tracks the ball well in the air and possesses a very good catch radius and good hands to make the catch on balls thrown over his shoulder as well as in and out of his strike zone. Once the catch is made, he shows the athleticism to outrun almost all defenders for a TD or huge gain. As a rusher, he is quick enough to turn the corner and uses his quickness, agility and fluid hips to juke out LB on the perimeter and DB in the secondary en route to a first down.

Danny Saili Danny Saili 6'4" | 330 lbs | DL Topeka | 2022 State KS is the 8th ranked OL and the 63rd ranked player overall in the class of 2022. He plays as a RT. When run blocking, he shows very good quickness off the ball, plays at a low pad level, is very physical at the point of attack as he wins battles with his hands inside the 5T on base blocks as he uses his excellent play strength and leverage to drive his man off the ball and finishes the block to the ground with ease as he creates a big hole for the RB to run through.

Gabe Martin Gabe Martin 5'9" | 195 lbs | RB Columbus | 2022 State KS is the 11th ranked RB and the 85th ranked player overall in the class of 2022. He is coming off a very impressive season in 2020 where he ran for 1,244 yards on 150 carries and scored 16 TD. In addition to his prowess as a rusher, he also caught 10 passes for 81 yards and a TD. He uses his very good vision to find the open hole, if the hole isn’t there initially, he uses his very good quickness and agility to bend it back inside while showing very good burst through the hole and uses his very good play speed to outrun LB and most DB for a TD or a big gain. He displays very good contact balance balance as he is able to keep moving forward after initial contact from LB and DB as he gains a few extra yards picking up a first down.
