Some have moved up spots and some we didn’t even know about last year. Here are some very talented QBs that will have terrific seasons in 2021.
Nick Evers Nick Evers 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Flower Mound | 2022 State TX | 6’3″ 190 lbs | Flower Mound
Up from the NO.9 spot, Evers was able to secure the NO.4 spot after a terrific junior season. Evers was able to earn the national spotlight after putting up some eye-popping numbers in 2020. He was able to complete 202 of 299 passes for 2,591 yards and throwing 25 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions. Evers had earned himself a total of 25 division I offers after finally committing to the Florida Gators in March of this year.
Alex Orji Alex Orji 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Sachse | 2022 State TX | 6’3″ 210 lbs | Sachse
Alex wasn’t even on the list last season. Part because of our mistake and part because he hadn’t really had a break-out season in till his junior year. Orji was super impressive this 7-on-7 season. Throwing the ball very well and impressed me with his footwork, arm strength, and accuracy. Earning him the spot in the top ten (7).
Cardell Williams Cardell Williams 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Westfield | 2022 State TX | 6’2″ 170 lbs | Westfield
In 2020 Cardell was named 14-6A first-team all-district selection as a junior. In 2019 Cardell also earned Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore, helped Westfield to a 13-2 record, and lead his team to a 6A D-II state semifinal appearance. As a sophomore, he put up some eye-popping numbers throwing for 2,811 yards, 30 touchdowns, and only had 6 INTs. Offers include McNeese State, Texas Southern, New Mexico, and Houston.
DAVID HOPKINS JR. | 6’2″ 205 lbs | Summit
David was another not on our radar who made his name known this offseason. He is a smooth dual-threat QB who has a great arm and puts a beautiful touch on the ball. He was able to secure himself a spot in our top 25 QBs.

Britton Moore Britton Moore 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB SA Reagan | 2022 State TX | 6’0″ 170 lbs | SA Reagan
Britton is one of the most-under-the-radar prospects on our list whose recruitment is just starting to take off. I remember when I first saw him during the 2020 season in a game versus Johnson High school and I remember being in awe of how amazingly gifted and talented this Quarterback was as an athlete. He has an amazing arm, very accurate, and can throw the long ball and put it on the money too. He is also dangerous running with the ball and can take it in for six anytime he takes off with it. They have some amazing talent at Reagan including junior running back Carson Green Carson Green 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB Ronald Reagan | 2023 State TX . Who is another offensive weapon for the rattlers.
