The 2023 group already has some immense talent in it at this time in the year. Some of these guys have even been being recruited since their freshman year. Let’s dive into some of the most dominant defensive lineman in the class of 2023.

A varsity starter since the 8th grade, Faulk has been no stranger to the recruiting world. He stands tall at 6’4″ 235 with long arms and the athleticism to become a premier edge rusher. Faulk is no raw prospect either. He already has a developed skill set to beat tackles with consisting of bull rushes, swim moves, and stack and replaces. Running in space is no problem for him either, as he can win with his speed in the open field. Listing offers from Alabama and pretty much every school in the southeast, he will have no shortage of college opportunities.

Kelby Collins Kelby Collins 6'5" | 250 lbs | DL Gardendale | 2023 State AL already has the size to play college football. At 6’5″ 250, Collins is easily the most recognizable player on the field. He is already an elite run stopper with a ton of upside as a pass rusher. Collins can bend well off the edge and has an explosive first step. Constantly in the backfield before anybody knows what is happening, he uses his athleticism to make a ton of plays for Gardendale. Love how violent and physical he is. Collins has already collected offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Florida among others.

Peter Woods Peter Woods 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Thompson | 2023 State AL has been dominating the highest classification of Alabama high school football since he was a freshman. The Thompson product is listed at 6’4″ 240 and looks every bit of it already. Woods has an explosive first step and elite hand usage. He stacks and sheds extremely well and is constantly making plays in the backfield. As a pass rusher, Woods can bend and rush from the interior or outside. A naturally strong kid, he can take over games with his bull rush move. Since his freshman year, he has added offers from Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, among many. Most of the nation will be after him.

The most recent defensive lineman to blow up, Tomarrion Parker Tomarrion Parker 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Central | 2023 State AL stands at 6’4″ 235. After a huge sophomore year, he picked up Florida State as his first offer. Since then, Auburn and others have followed. A dominant pass rusher, Parker had 11 sacks last season. He shows elite quickness and bend off the ball and constantly punishes opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Parker also has the hand moves and length to create separation with ease. This guy could be one of the best pass rushers in the state. Expecting another big season from him and offers to continue to come in.
