The players listed below are the to offensive players in the region.
Tucker Kilcrease Tucker Kilcrease 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Brantley | 2022 State AL | QB | Brantley HS
Kilcrease is an exceptional quarterback in Region 1. Last season, he finished second in passing yards in the region. In 2020, Kilcrease passed for 2,125 yards and averaged 212.5 passing yards per game. To add to those stellar yardage numbers, he passed for 32 touchdowns with just five interceptions.
Robert Shine | RB | Brantley HS
Last season, Shine led the region in rushing with 709 yards from scrimmage with nine touchdowns. Just a Sophomore, Shine was explosive out of the backfield for his school. Entering his junior year, he has a chance to be the starting running back after his breakout season in 2020.
Zane Weeks Zane Weeks 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Florala | 2023 State AL | WR | Florala HS
Weeks finished second last season in the region for receiving yards. He caught 26 passes for 607 yards with 10 touchdowns. Averaging 23.3 yards per catch, Weeks has been gaining steam on the football field. Should he produce those numbers again in 2021, Weeks could see more offers coming his way.
Austin Howell | WR | Brantley HS
Howell took the region by storm last season with his dominanting play on the field. Averaging 19.1 yards per catch, he caught 27 passes for 517 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has quick feet and can make defenders miss to gain extra yards.
Kyle Powell | 6-0 RB | Georgiana HS
Powell is a sensational running back that has terrfiic field vision and quick feet. Once the ball is in his hands, he is hard to bring down.
His 6’0″ frame gives him the ability to stiff arm defenders and fight for extra yards.
Marques Payton | 6-0 WR, TE | Georgiana HS
Payton can play both wide receiver and tight end. At 6’0″, 189-pounds, the rising sophomore is going to be a player to keep an eye on in the coming years. He is an excellent blocker in both the passing and running game. Aside from that, Payton has great hands and can bring in any pass thrown his way.
Demarcus Johnson | 5-11 QB, RB | Pleasant Home HS
Johnson can play both quarterback and running back. With his dynamic playmaking ability, he has the chance to become one of the top players in the region in 2021. Entering his junior year, Johnson will most likely take over the starting quarterback spot.
In the running game, he has the ability to plow through defenders and gain the necessary yards for a first down. However, in the passing game, Johnson makes accurate throws and reads the defense well enough at the line of scrimmage to switch to a different play if needed.
