But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for new players, and Muskegon has made themselves a team to pay attention to. Demetrius Walker Demetrius Walker 6'5" | 260 lbs | DL Muskegon | 2022 State MI , Myles Walton Myles Walton 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Muskegon | 2022 State MI and Duane Anderson Duane Anderson 6'2" | 275 lbs | OL Muskegon | 2022 MI are leading the way for the program, as they charge on to their senior seasons.
Dametrius Walker, 6’5, 260, Muskegon
Walker checks in as a top ten player in the state of Michigans class of 2022, and currently holds nine division one scholarship offers, according to his twitter account. He’s got very intriguing and imposing size as a defensive lineman, and not many players can come close to matching up with him, pound for pound. He looks like a linebacker playing defensive tackle at times, given his ability to run. He’s got a frame with room to add significant weight as he progresses to the next level, but for now he stars as a versatile lineman for Muskegon. He’s too quick and fast for opposing guards, and even has a great ability to get off blocks and chase the quarterback from the inside position.
Myles Walton Myles Walton 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Muskegon | 2022 State MI , 5’11, 180, Muskegon
Walton plays multiple positions, including wildcat quarterback, slot wide receiver and cornerback. He also plays multiple high school sports, but holds three scholarship offers in football thus far, heading into his final season. One of the reasons he’s so versatile and plays an essential role in Muskegons success is his speed. He’s got burner speed, and plays a bit like former Kentucky and Green Bay Packers star Randall Cobb did at in college. Walton really shows off on the defensive side of the ball, where he can be seen with a great vertical leap defending balls, speed to stick to opposing receivers, and a natural feel for the field. A player as good as Walton is a true security blanket for the team, and he’ll be a big reason for any future success within the program.
Duane Anderson Duane Anderson 6'2" | 275 lbs | OL Muskegon | 2022 MI 6’2, 275, Muskegon
Anderson really has good size, and good film overall. He’s got great footwork and really pass blocks well, but what stands out even more is his motor, as he does a great job of pursuing and finishing blocks. He shows great versatility, playing both left and right tackle when necessary. He’s a very good run blocking offensive tackle as well, consistently paving the way for his backs to gain yards on the ground. He does great job of down blocking and has a good enough size and skill set combination to probably play any position along the offensive line. He does a great job getting low and utilizing his legs for drive and power while on his blocks, something that not a lot of offensive lineman take advantage of.
