With the first week of the spring season officially in the books, it is time to highlight some of the top rushers from the season openers.
Below is a list of ten players who ran their way onto the leaderboards with their dominant rushing performances.

Carr, the number one ranked senior running back in the Prep Redzone CO rankings and Princeton commit, had 18 carries for 177 yards and four rushing touchdowns in Thursday’s victory. He also finished with one reception for 28 yards and one touchdown.
Jaden Hill | Thomas Jefferson | 6’1” | 2021 ATH
Hill helped his team win their first game with 13 carries for 171 yards and one touchdown. He also had two receptions for 53 yards and one touchdown.
Emilio Garcia | Grand Valley | 5’8” | 2022 RB
Garcia had an explosive opener, finishing with eight carries for 163 yards and four touchdowns in his team’s win on Friday.

During Saturday’s opening matchup, Vostatek tallied 20 carries for 124 yards and one touchdown to help his team finish victorious and start their season off with a win.
Gavin Webb | Basalt | 5’10” | 2022 RB
Webb finished Saturday’s contest with five carries for 120 yards and three touchdowns, helping his team win with the second highest margin of the week.
