5 Class of 2022 Impact Running Backs

While position players get their 7-on-7 and combine events, linemen head off to “Big Men” camps and specialist have their showcases, the running backs really go through the positions. Sure, you can test athleticism, twitch and other things, but running backs run the ball. They cut, sprint, jump and power themselves to extra yardage and touchdowns. While there are some team padded camps that running backs can certainly benefit from, the pandemic has done away those type of events that truly determine how good, skilled and tough an athlete happens to be. In the Class of 2022, which really has been short-changed handicapped in this Covid-aware society, has some outstanding running backs who haven’t gotten the spotlight that they would have if this all hadn’t gone down. But it did – and it continues to hamper in so many ways Today, we bring you five Class of 2022 prospects from around the state who are truly among the most talented we have in this class. This is a very athletic football player who has size and is truly one of those difference makers. The son of former University of Miami Hall of Famer Edgerrin James simply has it all. Not only a tremendous running back – with quickness, athleticism and size. Helped to lead this program deep into the 8A playoffs. Here is someone who finished with 1,898 rushing yards - 2,047 all-purpose yards, 24 touchdowns and he gets it done in the classroom – with a 3.1 GPA.
