Five Seniors Ready for a Breakout Season in 2021

There is a great deal of talent across every position in the class of 2022.  Here are five seniors who are looking to have a breakout season in 2021 and should gain interest from college recruiters. <strong>OL, [player_tooltip player_id="91373" first="Collin" last="Keeney"], 6’3, 260, Bishop Miege</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="91373" first="Collin" last="Keeney"] is the 17th ranked OL and the 101st ranked player overall in the class of 2022.  He plays as a RT.  In pass pro, he takes a 45 degree set, keeps his feet moving constantly while playing with a good base, delivers a powerful punch to the 5T or blitzing OLB and uses his good play strength while anchoring to prevent him from being driven back and keeps a good distance between him and the QB  to prevent a sack or hurry.  While run blocking, he uses his quickness to get to the second level on reach blocks, wins the outside shoulder of the OLB and uses his play strength and very good physical toughness to wash him out of the play creating a big lane for the RB. <strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="35605" first="Kenyon" last="Forest"], 5’9, 180, Newton</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="35605" first="Kenyon" last="Forest"] is the 13th ranked RB and the 111th ranked player overall in the class of 2022.  He uses his very good vision to find the open hole, shows good burst through the hole as he accelerates to top speed quickly, displays very good power and contact balance as he runs behind his pads and run through attempted tackles from LB and uses his very good play speed to run away from most if not all defenders for a big gain or a TD.  A reliable receiver coming out of the backfield as he runs wheel routes, showing good hands as he is able to make the catch on on target passes with ease and uses his very good athletic ability to run a for a big gain after the catch. <strong>LB, [player_tooltip player_id="35622" first="Jesus" last="Lopez"], 5’8, 180, Dodge City</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="35622" first="Jesus" last="Lopez"] is the 16th ranked LB and the 122nd ranked player overall in the class of 2022.  He plays as a MLB.  Against the pass, he quickly backpedals to defend the curl zone, reads the QB the entire time, tracks the ball and displays good hands as he comes down with an interception.  Against the run, he plays at a low pad level, uses his good instincts to take the correct angle to the ball carrier, shows good form tackling ability as he wraps up low and drives through the RB for the tackle.  He displays very good mental toughness as he continuously makes big plays in the red zone. <strong>WR, [player_tooltip player_id="91410" first="Garrett" last="Fager"], 5’11, 165, Osage City</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="91410" first="Garrett" last="Fager"] is the 15th ranked WR and the 136th player overall in the class of 2022.  In 2020, he caught 15 passes for 227 yards and scored 4 TD.  He plays primarily on the outside as an X and Z.  He uses his hips to manipulate CB at the top of his route, shows very good hands as he possesses a very good catch radius catching passes that are thrown both in and out of his strike zone, uses his very good elusiveness to make DB miss and uses his very good play speed to run for a big gain after the catch.  He shows very good ability as a blocker displaying very good use of hands as he delivers a solid hand punch on the inside of the shoulder pads of the CB, uses his very good play strength to maintain his block and effectively drives the CB several yards off the ball while playing until the whistle. <strong>DL, [player_tooltip player_id="35630" first="Vince" last="Rolls"], 6’2, 210, Shawnee Mission North</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="35630" first="Vince" last="Rolls"] is the 19th ranked DL and the 145th ranked player in the class of 2022 overall.  He plays as a DE where he lines up primarily in a 5T.  In 2020, he made.  He uses his good quickness and agility to beat the OT to the spot on reach blocks, uses his good instincts to take the correct angle to the RB and displays very good play strength and physical toughness as he brings the RB down with force.  Against the pass, he takes a quick first step, uses his play strength and good use of hands to break the grasp of the OT and uses his good play speed in pursuit of the QB and is able to bring him down for the sack. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
