One of those positions happens to be defensive end. It is a spot where so many gifted prospects from the Sunshine State have been turning heads at every level.
As we continue to spotlight the athletes who are part of this impressive Class of 2022.
Today, we check in on five quality defensive ends:
Nick Campbell Nick Campbell 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Lake Mineola | 2022 State FL , 6-3, 245, Lake Minneola. After helping to lead his team to a first ever state championship appearance in December, this impressive prospect is now regarded as one of the athletes who can certainly make an impact with his athleticism and knowledge of the game. He has been around the game for a while – and is certainly someone who colleges have been watching. Will continue to get better – as the year moves along.

Gabriel Dindy, 6-4, 280, Lakeland. Big time football talent who has the athletic ability and speed to lineup outside, but the strength and play-making knowledge to control the line from a tackle spot. This is truly one of the nation’s elite players – because he competes at a high level and has tapped into all of his assets. He will fun to watch in the off-season -as well as 2021, where the Dreadnaughts will have an impressive squad.

Mario Eugenio Mario Eugenio 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL Tampa Gaither | 2022 State FL , 6-3, 230, Tampa Gaither. Having watched this impressive football player for a number of years, you can see the improvement – and the work ethic that he has. Colleges love his motor, strength and overall athletic ability. He loves the game of football, and has worked so hard to get better and improve. As he gains weight and gets stronger, he will be tough to stop.

Segree Graham Segree Graham 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL St. Johns Bartram Trail | 2022 State FL , 6-3, 240, St. Johns Bartram Trail. This University of Cincinnati commitment was someone we watched last year – and came away thoroughly impressed at the way handled himself on the line – using athleticism and quickness to learn and make a huge impact. Watch him perform and you are taken to his ability to explode and win battles at the line of scrimmage.

Marvin Jones Jr Marvin Jones Jr 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Plantation American Heritage | 2022 State FL ., 6-4, 225, Plantation American Heritage. One of the more interesting stories about the son of a one-time major football player at Miami Northwestern, FSU and in the NFL with the Jets. “Shade Tree” as they called Marvin Jones Sr. was a linebacker. His son is an athlete who went from a promising receiver to a defensive end – and without hesitation – came away as being one of the nation’s best. This young man is the real deal, and he has only scratched the surface. Give him two more years and he will be one of the best who is playing the position – at the collegiate level.
