Led by Gary Howard and Trent Herzog, National Preps is continuing the most successful Collegiate Showcase Series to ever come through the region. Events thus far have featured almost every top recruit in that specific area, with showcases already taking place in LA, The Bay Area, Las Vegas, Reno, and Oregon. Next up will be the State of Washington on January 9th where you will see most of the NW’s top talent.

With 270+ college clients and a majority of the nation’s top programs, NP has been able to help countless athletes looking to gain and maintain exposure during these trying times. Have a look at Oregon’s MVP’s from a few months back as we will announce Washington’s top performers following next week’s showcase as well.

OREGON MVP’s

OVERALL– 3* Drew Carter Drew Carter 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Lake Stevens | 2022 State WA QB Tigard 21’- Already headed to Boulder to early enroll as Carter is one of the top 2 sport athletes ever to represent Oregon. He will play both football and basketball for Colorado in the PAC 12.

OFFENSE– 3*  Kobe Young Kobe Young 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Chiawana | 2021 State WA WR Chiawana (WA) 21’- Young’s upside is ridiculous. Injuries and the pandemic have prevented his stock from skyrocketing, but don’t be surprised if he ends up with double digit D1 offers at some point.

DEFENSE– 4*  Trejon Williams Trejon Williams 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Jefferson | 2022 State OR DB Jefferson 22’- What looks to be one of the top DB’s in America and a future Sunday guy. He has the potential of being one of the best to ever play football in Oregon.

POSITIONAL

QB- 3* JJ Woodin JJ Woodin 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Evergreen | 2021 State WA Evergreen (WA) 21’- As a four-year varsity starter Woodin has the potential to throw for 3000+ and 40 TDs this coming season. He has the size and all of the tools.

QB-3* Blake DeBisschop Blake DeBisschop Blake DeBisschop 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB West Linn | 2021 State OR West Linn 21’- This kid is the real deal. As mentioned numerous times, he has had to wait his turn playing for the state’s top program. Once he has 2-4 games worth of film he will have a handful of D1 offers.

RB- 3* Gavin Haines Gavin Haines Gavin Haines 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB West Linn | 2021 State OR   West Linn 21’- My 6A Offensive POY favorite in the state of Oregon this coming season. One of the only athletes in the region who could play on either side of the ball at the highest level.

TE-  3* Jacob Newell Jacob Newell 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Thurston | 2022 State OR Thurston 22’- Newell has a stock that has shot through the roof in recent months. Already landing his first D1 offer, he should be considered among the state’s top 10 recruits for the 2022 class.

WR- 3* Trent Walker Trent Walker 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Beaverton | 2021 State OR Beaverton 21’- Walker has a handful of D1 offers contingent upon military commitments or other requirements. He is potentially the top overall athlete in the state for 2021 if we are talking dual threat status.

WR- 3* Jeremiah Noga Jeremiah Noga 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Hidden Valley | 2021 State OR Hidden Valley 21’- People are sleeping big on Noga. 3A competition in Oregon isn’t good but he has been beyond dominant, and excelled at the NP showcase against elite competition.

OL- 3* Charlie Pickard Charlie Pickard 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Jesuit | 2021 State OR T Jesuit 21’- Currently the #1 ranked OL in Oregon for the 2021 class according to 247 Sports. Pickard impresses with his overall athleticism, earning 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the football

OL- 2* Emilio Castaneda G Hood River 21’- Maybe the breakout player of the camp. Castaneda is someone elite line coach Alex Linnenkohl calls an unquestioned D1 kid and a potential professional athlete with continued progression.

DL- 3* Takari Hickle Takari Hickle 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Tenino | 2022 State WA Tenino (WA) 22’- Hickle racked up his second MVP award after being named the top D lineman in Reno. Already holding multiple D1 offers expect his stock to continue to shoot through the roof, with his god given size and athleticism.

LB- 2* Bryan Cuthbertson Bryan Cuthbertson 6'1" | 240 lbs | LB Sherwood | 2021 State OR Sherwood 21’- The state’s hardest hitter and the reigning conference POY from 2019. Cuthbertson’s junkyard dog mentality makes him one of the most exciting players in Oregon to watch.

LB- 3* Dyami Rios Dyami Rios 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB McNary | 2021 State OR McNary 21’- Rios is incredibly talented on and off the field. His recent commitment to Princeton speaks to his dedication in the classroom, and what he brings to the table as he heads off to the Ivy League.

DB- Gabe Tahir Kamiakin (WA) 23’- One of the best in Washington for the 2023 class. Expect to hear a lot about this kid in the years ahead as he comes from a talented football family.

UNDERCLASS

2022- JP Zamora JP Zamora 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Chiawana | 2022 State WA QB Chiawana (WA)- Another big-time prospect out of Washington who made his intentions known early committing to Utah. Zamora will do well in the Pac 12.

2023 Co- Kaden Huppin ATH Westview- Huppin has the potential of being Oregon’s top recruit in the 2023 class. The Wildcats are loaded and finally have a line so expect Kaden to thrive on both sides of the football.

2023 Co- Jayden Moses LB Grant- The Only freshman in Oregon to earn all-conference accolades at the 6A level. Moses impressed with his agility and speed. With continued growth the sky’s the limit.

2024 Ethan Biodine LB Lakeridge- Originally playing for the prestigious St Louis program out of Hawaii, Biodine is light years ahead of most freshman. He projects as a big time D1 guy and one of the best in the NW for 2024.
