Southlake Carrol 34 – Westlake Austin 54
Quarterback Quinn Ewers, the Ohio state buckeyes commit, looked more dialed in this game with something to prove after the previous week’s subpar performance. Per sources, the QB had been dealing with injury and not exactly at his best. Nonetheless, still playing and able to put on a good performance in the 6A Division 1 championship round. Being 12 of 17 with 215 yards passing and 2 touchdowns in the game. Another Carrol Dragon to look out for in 2021 would be running back Owen Allen, who finished the season with amazing stats, had two touchdowns in this game, and was held to just 40 yards on the ground on 15 carries. When just the previous week he lead the defeat over Duncanville with 192 yards rushing against a team that was ranked NO.5 in the nation at the time.
However, in the final matchup of the Texas high school football season between father and son, Riley Dodge and father Todd Dodge.
