Bennett Ringleb Bennett Ringleb 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Union | 2023 State OK – Union (#49 Overall)
First on our list is a guy who just snuck into our top 50, Bennett Ringleb Bennett Ringleb 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Union | 2023 State OK . In terms of pure eye test when watching Union this year it was hard to give Bennett the credit he deserved at times because he had teammate Will Thomas Will Thomas 6'7" | 305 lbs | OL Union | 2022 State OK overshadowing him for most of the year and rightly so as Thomas has been one of the best linemen in the state over the last two seasons. However, that should not take away from what Bennet put on film in 2020. He is not as polished as the guys ranked above him right now but the flashes of agility and athleticism mixed with his power is enough for us to believe he has the potential to reach similar heights as some of his past OL teammates in the next few seasons.
Milton White Milton White 6'3" | OL Jenks | 2023 State OK – Jenks (#23 Overall)
Another player who was overshadowed at times by another big-time recruit on his own OL is Milton White Milton White 6'3" | OL Jenks | 2023 State OK . White does not have the size of teammate and OSU commit Logan Nobles Logan Nobles 6'6" | OL Jenks | 2021 State OK , but he has plenty of power to manhandle just about anyone in the state. Milton was a mauler in the run game in 2020 and was very versatile as Jenks rotated him all across the interior. Not many Sophomores start for Jenks along the OL most years, so we fully expect White to take the next step as a prospect with the chance to enter the elite tier that the top guys in this class are at or approaching.
Brandt Haag Brandt Haag 6'5" | 305 lbs | OL Bishop McGuinness | 2023 State OK – Bishop McGuinness (#11 Overall)
It is not often that we have a guy in the top 15 that only played 2 games but that is the case with Brandt Haag Brandt Haag 6'5" | 305 lbs | OL Bishop McGuinness | 2023 State OK . In the 2 games he played in this season Haag showed more than a lot of OL do in a whole season. Haag has excellent size for his age at 6’6″ 305 and was one of the most technically sound OL I saw all year, especially in pass protection. I can’t wait to see what this kid can put on tape with a full season of work in 2021.
JaKobe Sanders JaKobe Sanders 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL Stillwater | 2023 State OK – Stillwater (#7 Overall)
Other than our next guy on the list, Jakobe is the best OL in the class of 2023 and is easily the top interior prospect. Sanders played both guard and center in 2020 for the Pioneers and was one of the most explosive off the line in the state which is incredible when he has guys like Garrett Hummann on his own team. Everything he did in 2020 was powerful and speedy including his hands and power at the second level where he often found himself taking out multiple guys in one play. Jakobe certainly did not look like a Sophomore in 2020 so I can’t imagine how he’ll look in 2021 with a whole offseason to become stronger and more technically sound.
Jonathan Ashford Jonathan Ashford 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Edmond Santa Fe | 2023 State OK – Edmond Santa Fe (#2 Overall)
Our last OL on this list is one who has been at or near the top of all our 2023 rankings and has a chance to enter the truly elite tier that few OL in Oklahoma get to. Santa Fe had over 3000 yards rushing as a team in 2020 that included a 1700 yard rusher and an 800-yard rusher, and a lot of credit for that should go to Ashford. There were so many plays in 2020 where Hyche or Snoddy would reach the second level with Ashford as their personal escort taking out whoever was in their path. With a little bit more speed and some refining in pass protection, Ashford could be the next elite OL to come out of the state after guys like Jacob Sexton Jacob Sexton 6'6" | OL Deer Creek | 2022 State OK and Logan Nobles Logan Nobles 6'6" | OL Jenks | 2021 State OK .
