We start with perhaps the smallest of the five defensive linemen prospects on this list. Booker T Washington’s

doesn’t have the height that some of the other defensive linemen have but when you throw on the tape or see him in person, it’s very clear that it does not matter. We first saw Tiger in person early on in the 2020 season and we were very impressed. The young standout is very advanced in his skillset and the moves that he uses to get off blocks. While he doesn’t have prototypical height, it doesn’t matter when he’s lining up at defensive tackle. And we’ll throw this out there as well. He’s a sophomore, he could still grow and become a more dangerous prospect. But for right now, he’s still a Top 30 guy in the state and has room to improve but we were very impressed with Tiger after his breakout sophomore season..

– Hilldale (Ranked #28 Overall)
People around the Hilldale program are very excited for the next few seasons and there’s a good reason behind that. The Hornets have a ton of young talent in their 2023 and 2024 classes. Headlining them all is defensive lineman

, who also starts for the Hornets as an offensive lineman. However, we can’t help but be impressed with what he’s able to do on the defensive side of the ball and his physical frame just projects to more of a defensive prospect. However, it doesn’t matter at all where he lines up on the field because the end result is the same. Keefe locks onto whoever is in front of him and when he gets his hands on you, you’re going where he wants you to go. Without a doubt the biggest attribute Keefe has is his strength. He has to be one of the strongest 2023 prospects and that makes him a prospect to keep circled for the next few years.

– Del City (Ranked #10 Overall)
There’s no secret that Del City has some serious talent going through that program right now and they have two of the top ten prospects in the class. One of them is defensive lineman

. Out of the five defensive linemen on this breakdown, Foreman is without a doubt the highest rated and arguably the “safest bet” for being a big time prospect for the next level. He looks the part already and what he looks like is a lock to becoming a power 5 program prospect. I also think Foreman and the people around that Del City program would be the first to tell you that the 2020 season did not go how they planned. However, the foundation has been established and this is certainly a program on the rise. Foreman is without a doubt a great building block to having one of the better defensive units in the state, regardless of class.

was a player we had circled as one of the more intriguing prospects in this 2023 class. Physically, there was a lot to like already about Jones with his physical frame and his athletic ability. However, we wanted to see that translate to the football field during Jones’ sophomore season. And while we got a good idea off tape at what Jones could be, we came away wanting more. Right now, we have Jones basically in the middle of the pack in our 2023 Top 50. We want to see more of Jones on a consistent basis throughout the season. There are certainly a lot of things to like about Jones’ game. We just want to see more of it. He has the potential to jump up and go from “middle of the pack” to being a Top 20 to Top 15 type prospect with a strong offseason and junior year.

but walked away impressed with Rich as well. The young Ram standout was an absolute wrecking ball in that early season game and he only continued to improve throughout his sophomore season. After doing more research on Rich, he’s also a standout wrestler, which should be no surprise when you watch him on the football field. He’s not the biggest or the strongest guy but he knows how to use his hands and use his leverage extremely well. Both of those things go hand in hand with wrestling. Owasso has a ton of young talent and Rich and Jamerson will make up a very dangerous defensive front in 2021. If Rich continues to grow and improve, he’ll be higher on this list.
