What 2020 was for some prospects across the Sunshine State was a chance to showcase their skills – and they have done just that.
No matter where it is in Florida – or what positions they play – college coaches are always looking ahead, and with an abundance of amazing football players to choose from, this season was still about the future stars as well.
Today, we bring you five more underclassmen to keep an eye on.
2023 – Cooper Aurila, DB/WR, Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian. Definitely a prospect to watch for – as he is sure to mature and continue to improve and learn. He is physical and very talented. His ball skills are what you notice right away – because he is a smart football player who is learning what is taught at a young age. He is versatile and athletic enough to become a prospect that many are going to want to watch.

2022 – Brycnn Bennett, RB, Valrico Bloomingdale. With all the big names that this program has getting much of the attention, here is a quality runner who is one of those hidden gems that we have here in this state. A quick, strong runner who hits the hole quick and is agile and athletic enough to make people miss. Has a chance to be very special over the next year.

2022 – Caden Huffman, LB, Lithia Newsome. Here is a big time football talent, who comes to perform at a high level with plenty of passion. Reads plays extremely well and is among the top tacklers on a team that made a huge impact in the state payoffs. Had 14 tackles and a pass breakup in his first playoff game.

2023 – Devon Jackson, RB/S, Tallahassee North Florida Christian. So he’s not 5-11, 200, but this is certainly someone who will fill the stat sheet just as fast. A very gifted young man who runs, catches and makes a major impact when he’s in space. Great instincts and the best thing is he is just a sophomore. Keep your eye on him in the off season. It’s a name that will continue to surface.

2023 – Brady Nowlan, LB, Brooksville Nature Coast Tech. Here is a gifted young man who was one of the top play-makers on a team loaded with quality football talent. His 82 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks,1 safety,1 interception and one touchdown in just seven games was something that that talented football prospect had the chance to showcase.
