Yah-Sin Calhoun, Freehold Borough: Calhoun was an all-around threat for Freehold Borough. He led the conference in tackles with 113, also leading the conference in interceptions with six. To add on to his incredible season, Calhoun led the Shore Conference with 29 receptions and 564 receiving yards. He scored three times as a receiving weapon. Calhoun also ran for 406 yards and six scores.
Tyler Ochojski Tyler Ochojski 6'2" | DL Freehold Boro | 2022 NJ , Freehold Borough: Ochojski led the Shore Conference with 9.5 sacks to go with 56.5 tackles. He finished with a sack in practically every game this season. His top performances came against Freehold Township with 2.5 sacks and two in a win over Howell.
Aiden Moriarty Aiden Moriarty 6'2" | LB Rumson-Fair Haven | 2022 NJ , Rumson-Fair Haven: Moriarty was second in the conference with 7.5 sacks to add on to 60 tackles. The Rumson-Fair Haven junior had two sacks apiece in the team’s games against Red Bank Catholic and Middletown South.
Sha’Kim Shuler, Freehold Borough: Shuler was a great threat for Freehold Borough. He ran for a conference-leading 1,206 yards to go with 15 rushing scores. He also threw for 1,155 yards and eight TDs.
John Volker, Rumson-Fair Haven: Volker finished second in the league in rushing with 1,173 yards and 15 touchdowns. The senior ran for over 100 yards in every game. He finished with 199 yards and four scores on 17 carries in a victory over Middletown South in October.
Joe Barsky, Colts Neck: Barsky was a big reason why Colts Neck finished with a 6-1 record, accumulating 1,083 yards and 20 touchdowns on 154 carries. Outside of the season finale against Rumson-Fair Haven, Barsky ran for 100-plus yards in every game. That included a 244-yard, three-touchdown performance against Manalapan, and a 171-yard, five-touchdown outing against Freehold Township.
Jahdir Loftland, Donovan Catholic: Loftland finished with 1,369 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns for Donovan Catholic. He was a threat every time he got a touch, and his numbers reflected that.
