No matter where you head in this impressive and talent-filled state, there are athletes who turned it on this year and made a case for attention to be paid to so many of them.
Keep in mind, there are very few states in this country that produce the volume of football talent that Florida does – and that is something that many colleges and universities across the country want to tap into.

Here are 5 names to remember:
2021 – Gahains Florvil, DB/Athlete, Homestead Somerset Academy Silver Palms. A versatile secondary talent that coaches and players talked about during this playoff season. Throw the ball into his area and you are taking your chance. Great ball skills and superb speed. In addition, he is among the top tacklers on a team that continues to improve each year. This is a football player that has done his job when called upon.

2022 – Chris Graves, WR/CB, Fort Myers Bishop Verot. Not only was this a special year for this football program, which laid down a winning foundation, but it also gave underclassmen, like this, a chance to showcase his versatile play. This is someone with speed, athleticism and the ability to take a short pass and turn it into a long gain. He is equally as impressive as gifted defensive back.

2022 – Gavin Grice, RB/Athlete, Pensacola Pine Forest. One a team that certainly made some major strides this season, here is a football talent that runs the ball, catches, plays defense and does anything that this program needed. Having him back to do it all once again in 2021 will give this team a chance to take things further. This is a very special athlete.

2021 – Luther McCoy Luther McCoy 6'4" | 280 lbs | DL St. John's Creekside | 2021 FL , DL, St. Johns Creekside. A gifted football talent that we had been promoting for quite some time, and now, plenty of people are taking notice of what this quality prospect can do from his defensive line position. Strong, agile and very athletic. Watch him play and you will see a football player who can do it all. This is a prospect that you will hear plenty about.

2022 – Ezekiel Previlon, SS, Lake Worth Park Vista. Make no mistake, when it comes to technique and knowledge of reading plays, this is someone on the rise. Having a high football IQ has helped this young man become a better player and gain more confidence. Watch him perform and you can see how he is always in the right spot to make a play. With another year to go, this is truly someone to keep an eye on during the off-season – as he gets bigger and stronger, which will change his game.
