Some of these players were able to play a full schedule while others lost games to COVID rules. As a former player and scout, but as a coach and a father, thank you all for battling each and every week.
QB Cael Welker Cael Welker 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Jackson | 2021 State MO , Jackson– One of the most prolific players in Missouri history, Welker finished out his career as a state champion. Welker is poised in the pocket, accurate on the move and tough as nails. Welker may lack physical stature, but he more than makes up that with savvy, leadership and arm talent. He will be a winning college QB.
QB Jacob Weaver Jacob Weaver 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Helias Catholic | 2021 State MO , Helias Catholic– Weaver is another QB and former Prep Redzone Friday Night MVP that led his team to a state crown. Weaver has a snap right-handed release in a compact motion with good accuracy downfield. He is a strong runner who finishes his runs like a running back. Weaver continued to progress as a QB in his time at HC and as a leader of men, walked away a champion.
RB Devrin Weathers Devrin Weathers 6'1" | 195 lbs | WR Webb City | 2021 State MO , Webb City– I am totally biased here. I have never met this young man but every time I turned on tape of him, Weathers absolutely floored me with his talent. The Kansas State signee is going to play early and often for the Wildcats and his ability to be versatile will allow him to be used in multiple positions.
RB Jericho Farris Jericho Farris 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Cassville | 2021 State MO , Cassville– A week 8 MVP, Farris had as solid of a senior year as a player could have. Compactly built, Farris runs with power, vision and God-given balance. Another player who in the right college program will be a record-breaker.
RB Titus Seley Titus Seley 5'7" | 180 lbs | RB West Plains High | 2021 State MO , West Plains– Seley was dominant on both sides of the football but on offense accounted for over 2300 yards his senior campaign. Deceptively fast, Seley uses his quickness, flexibility and natural bend to get through the hole and burst into space. An interesting college prospect for a smart college program.
WR Cooper Ezard Cooper Ezard 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Camdenton | 2021 State MO , Camdenton– Featured as a preseason all state selection, the senior lived up to the hype. The state leader in catches with 109, statistics aren’t what make Ezard an all state player. The ability to use his size, his uncanny knack for finding the open area and his soft, quick hands make him one of the elite WRs in the state of Missouri.
WR Logan Buhlig, Monroe City– A long, well built wide receiver used his size to out-jump and out-muscle defensive backs for the football. As a deep threat for the Panthers offensive attack, Buhlig used his strong hands and speed to make big play after big play in his final season.
WR Cole Stewart, Carl Junction– The senior uses his top-flight quickness off the line of scrimmage to set up his routes well. Cut low to the ground, Stewart gets in and out of his breaks with decisiveness and power. Stewart has good run after the catch ability and phenomenal hands.
WR Brady Blackwell Brady Blackwell 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Branson | 2021 State MO , Branson– Blackwell will convert to tight end at the next level and a smart college program locks him up quickly. The senior from Branson has excellent body control, powerful hands and high points the football well. He is also a willing blocker who is a tough joker.
TE Abe Haerr Abe Haerr 6'5" | 195 lbs | TE Palmyra | 2021 State MO , Palmyra– A touchdown target, the big man looked as if he was playing with little kids at times this season. Another preseason All MO preseason selection, Haerr lived up to the billing. The senior played his best down the stretch for Palmyra and wherever he ends up in college, that program will be getting a warrior.
OL Connor Tollison Connor Tollison 6'4" | 265 lbs | OL Jackson | 2021 State MO , Jackson– As good as a player at any position in the state of Missouri. The University of Missouri signee has outstanding foot quickness, hip flexion and pass pro kick. I will not be surprised if Tollison starts for Mizzou in 2021.
OL Kobie Breshears Kobie Breshears 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Slater | 2021 State MO , Slater– The Emporia State signee, another preseason selection, was a wardog his senior season. Using his outstanding athletic ability, Breshears moves well in space, can hold the edge and climb and make blocks at the second level.
OL Alex Curry Alex Curry 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Joplin | 2021 State MO , Joplin– Southeast Missouri State is getting a pancake maker in 2021. Since he first stepped on the field for Joplin, Curry has been planting defenders with his strong upper body control and powerful hip explosion. Was a preseason selection on this website and improved to be one of the best in the state.
OL Aiden Logan Aiden Logan 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Carthage | 2021 State MO , Carthage– A powerhouse as a junior became an even better player as a senior. Logan, another preseason pick for Missouri Prep Redzone, who was once commited to Arkansas State, used his final season to climb other college boards and should be a Power 5 signee come February.
OL Jack Roweton, Bolivar– The Bolivar offensive run game is predicated on having athletic pulling guards. Roweton fits that bill and once he finds his target, he is a missile on contact. Powerfully built, Roweton uses his leg drive and girth to outmuscle and out hit the defender. The senior used his final season to improve his stock for colleges.
OL Parker Wideman, Helias Catholic– Not only is Wideman the leader of the OL as a senior, but he capped off that campaign with a state championship. The war-daddy continually improved in his time in Columbia and took over as a senior who opened holes using grit, toughness and outstanding lateral quickness. A wily college program gets an ever-growing prospect.
