They never get half of the credit due when their team wins and they never end up in the headlines for stacking up a bunch of pancake blocks. Mmmmm who doesn’t love a good pancake block? Well, Prep Redzone sure does admire these big fellows. So much so our staff has worked diligently to put together a list of Texas’s top prospects still available at this moment. These players are on a lot of well-respected college recruiting boards. The lineman will appear in order of Prep Redzones 2021 OL’s / DL’s prospect list still available. Here they are.
Offensive line:
1. Bryce Foster Bryce Foster 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Katy Taylor | 2021 State TX – 6’5″ 330 lbs | OG | Katy Taylor
This O-Lineman has a devastating punch that knocks defenders off kilt easily. He can play multiple positions on the O-Line. He doesn’t stop in till the whistle is blown or gets a pancake block. He chips well and moves to the second level with ease.

2. Erick Cade Erick Cade 6'7" | 330 lbs | OL Braswell | 2021 TX – 6’7″ 330 lbs | OT | Braswell
Erick has tremendous size obviously but he is still very athletic. He can get around the edge on defenders, he can pull and open up holes for backs. He keeps a low base and never pops up out of stance, he maintains good leverage in which he uses his size to flatten defenders. Once he gets his hands on you, you know you’ve been beating as a defender because he is not letting go.
Erick has offers from Alabama, Arizona, LSU, Arkansas, Baylor, and others.
3. Remington Strickland Remington Strickland 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Fort Bend Baptist | 2021 TX – 6’4″ 292 Ibs | OL | Fort Bend Christian Academy
Remington is a very athletic tackle who i think would play well as a center or guard at the next level. He finishes blocks and has great speed and athleticism for his size.
Remington has offers to Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Houston, Memphis, Michigan, and others.
4. Gabe Blair Gabe Blair 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Guyer | 2021 TX – 6’3″ 303 Ibs | OC | Guyer ( Denton, TX)

Gabe had offers from Arkansas State, Colorado, Louisiana Monroe, North Texas, Syracuse, and others.
5. Edzavier Deblaw Edzavier Deblaw 6'4" | 340 lbs | OL North Shore | 2021 TX – 6’4″ 340 Ibs | OG | North Shore
Deblaw does not have tremendous technique but where he lacks in technique he makes up for it with great strength. Delivering a knock-out blow that defenders look like they hit a brick wall when they run into this guy. Currently, he is still uncommitted but for how long is still to be determined.
Edzavier has offers from Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Houston, LSU, Tennessee, and others.
6. Caleb Leonard Caleb Leonard 6'4" | 315 lbs | OL Shadow Creek | 2021 TX 6’4″ 290 Ibs | OG | Shadow Creek
Caleb boxes out defenders and gives the back huge holes to run through. He can block at the second level and pull with great quickness. He is nasty when it comes to finishing blocks, putting defenders in the dirt by driving them in till the whistle is blown.

7. Febechi Nwaiwu Febechi Nwaiwu 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Coppell | 2021 TX 6’3″ 310 Ibs | OG | Coppell
Nwaiwu is a strong interior lineman. He finishes blocks, pulls well, and has a great burst off the ball.

8. Hunter Smith Hunter Smith 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Rockwall-Heath | 2021 TX 6’5 300 Ibs | OT | Rockwall – Heath
Hunter has great size and can make an impact on any O’lineman coach’s offensive line. He shows great smarts and blocks well.

All-State / District OT Jacob Bayer Jacob Bayer 6'3" | 325 lbs | OL Grandview | 2021 TX from Grandview is an athletic built offensive lineman who takes great pride in finishing on blocks. He has a great stance at left tackle, has great footwork, and can handle speed rush defenders with his strength and athleticism.

10. Ryan Lamb Ryan Lamb 6'1" | 290 lbs | OL Lebanon Trail | 2021 TX 6’1″ 285 Ibs | OC | Lebanon Trail
Ryan is the leader of the offensive line. Smart kid, and has the passion to be the best he can be at his position. Showing great effort on every down.

You’ve all probably done your homework and know who Adeleye is and why wouldn’t you? Adeleye is a smart and gifted athlete who will be great at the next level. He is Bruce Lee with the hand speed and can swim move a defender in a blink of an eye and of course —he gets after the quarterback and chases down anyone with the football.

2. Shemar Turner Shemar Turner 6'4" | 275 lbs | DL DeSoto | 2021 State TX 6’3″ 282 Ibs | SDE | DeSoto

3. Ikechukwu Iwunnah Ikechukwu Iwunnah 6'4" | 280 lbs | DL Lakeview Centennial | 2021 TX 6’4 275 Ibs | DT | Lakeview Centennial
Ikechukwu can plug up any gaps offensive linemen try to make. He moves well for his size, stays low coming off the ball, and has a tremendous first step and punch that he delivers. He is able to get into the backfield and hurry quarterbacks.

Braylen can put his hand in the ground or stand up at the next level. He is an athletic defensive-end who is athletic enough to play outside linebacker as well.

Tyrin is a great defensive-end who is simply faster than his opponent. He has great pass rush abilities and tracks down the ball carrier well as he maintains his gap and extends of blockers to make a play on the ball.

Hunter is an athletic defensive tackle who can run east and west on the field and track down a ball carrier. He has great strength, gives blows to wimpy blockers, and makes plays in the backfield.
