Ryan Hinman, South Hunterdon: Hinman threw two touchdowns in South Hunterdon’s 20-0 victory over Dunellen. He found Donald Gallagher and Nick Venittone on touchdown passes while also running for 40 yards.
Jack Kudrick, New Egypt: In New Egypt’s 31-14 win over Bordentown, Kudrick had quite a night. He found Jacob Kramer on a 40-yard TD pass, Solomon Oliver on a 45-yard TD strike and connected on a 33-yard field goal. Kudrick was confident in the deep ball and finding his receiving weapons in stride. He made some nice plays rolling out to his right and finding the open man.
Adam Harris, New Egypt: Harris scored on a 65-yard run and had a 56-yard interception return for a score in New Egypt’s 31-14 win over Bordentown on Thursday.
Caleb Gandy, Vineland: Gandy completed 70 percent of his passes and threw four touchdowns and 176 yards in Vineland’s 35-7 victory over Clearview. Gandy made major plays all game, connecting with Levi Manson on TD throws of 56 and 51 yards, finding Jonathan Toney on a 22-yard TD and Ryan Williams on a 24-yard score. Manson finished with three receptions for 119 yards, Anthony Arthur Anthony Arthur 5'7" | DB Vineland | 2022 NJ had 74 rushing yards, Braylon Blakely scored on a run and Toney and Manson each had an interception. Gandy put the ball in the right places all game, and he led Vineland to its second win of the season.
Keiahn Grenald, North Plainfield: Grenald was tremendous in North Plainfield’s 28-14 victory over West Milford Thursday night. The Canucks improved to 6-0 and had four sacks on defense. Grenald carried much of the load on the offensive end. He threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns. The North Plainfield quarterback ran for 60 yards and scored on an 8-yard run. Grenald also had one of North Plainfield’s two interceptions on defense. Nasir McGlone was Grenald’s downfield threat, as McGlone scored on a 72-yard TD connection.
Gennaro Longobardi, Nutley: Longobardi was extremely effective for 5-0 Nutley in its 26-14 win over Columbia on Thursday. He ran for 160 yards on 25 carries. It was the senior’s top performance of the season. Longobardi was utilized from the start, and Nutley won the battle up front behind its strong offensive line.
Billy Mielnicki, Nutley: Mielnicki caught a 45-yard reception and had a 30-yard interception return for a score in Nutley’s win over Columbia.
