Week 5 in MN: JWP/WEM & Pipestone/Jackson County
JWP vs. WEM
The Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs hosted the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers Friday night. Both teams looking for their first wins on the year with similar offensive styles and strong defensive styles. JWP was able to keep getting short fields with stellar defensive play. WEM held their own in the short fields but could not keep the Bulldogs out of the end zone. Special teams was WEM’s only score with a blocked punt. However, the short fields and the ground-and-pound game was too much for the Buccaneers, leading a 31-6 Bulldog Victory. Here is the Scoring Summary:

PAS vs. JCC
The Jackson County Central Huskies hosted the Pipestone Area Arrows on Friday night. Pipestone looking for their first win while Jackson searching for their second. Pipestone struck first when the defense pounced on a wild Husky snap in the end zone for the score. JCC rallied right back with some big plays to take the lead. Both defenses battled until the Huskies were able to score in the red zone for the back breaking score. Here’s the scoring recap:

3rd Quarter:
