We still have two weeks of playoff level football to go! Before we get into the playoffs let’s look back and see who went off on offense during the last week of the regular season. There were many great performances, so let’s not waste any time and dive into them!
Jack Martens Jack Martens 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR Cumberland | 2021 State WI , Senior WR- Cumberland
Stat Line: 15 Receptions, 203 yards, 2 TDs
Jack is one of the best receivers in the state. This week he showed off his exceptional run after the catch skills. He was targeted a lot around the line of scrimmage. This allowed him to use his speed and elusiveness to create plays. It paid off because he turned several of those catches into big gains despite having defenders closing in on him at the catch point. Jack clearly has that next level athleticism that makes it look like he is playing at a different speed than the rest. He deserves each of the handful of D1 offers that he has. Not is he one of the most talented receivers in the state, he is also one of the most productive. Special talent. Jack’s Week 7 Highlights
Robby Michael Robby Michael 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Sheboygan Lutheran | 2022 State WI , Junior QB- Sheboygan Lutheran
Stat Line: 245 Passing Yards, 4 TD Passes, 144 Rushing Yards, 2 Rushing TDs. Bonus: 2 Picks, 1 PBU
This was a huge game for Michael and his team as they faced off against undefeated Two Rivers. Robby stepped up to the challenge and delivered another one of his weekly insane performances. He did it all in this week’s film too. Robby delivered passes off platform with pressure in his face, dropped it in a bucket deep down the field for scores, and delivered quick and accurate passes underneath. He also gashed the defense with his legs. Not only down the field, but he also in the passing game. He was able to use his legs to buy time on several plays that turned into big plays. Add in the big play ability as a DB and you get an impressive athlete at the QB position. Robby’s Week 7 Highlights
Matt Wagner, Junior WR- Kettle Moraine
Stat Line: 9 Receptions, 162 Yards, 2 TDs
Matt has steadily been on the rise for me among junior WRs in the state because of performances exactly like the one from this past week. He is an impressive athlete with a great build at 6’1″ 180 and he shows in this week’s film that he knows how to use it. Matt does a great job of attacking the ball at it’s highest point and has the strong hands to catch it and secure it while in traffic. He’s also runs some very sharp and clean routes at full speed leading to plenty of separation. I really liked his vision on a couple in breaking routes where he identified soft spots in coverage and got to them. Check him out. Matt’s Week 7 Highlights
Evan Ladwig Evan Ladwig 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Plymouth | 2021 State WI , Senior OL- Plymouth
Stat Line: Offense rushed for over 300 yards and rushed for 4 TDs. Averaged almost 7 yards a carry!
Evan has appeared in several defensive top performances article, but this week I wanted to highlight his dominant offensive line play. This is the side of the ball I expect him to play at the next level. That’s what the film tells me. Coming in at 6’5″ 270 lbs at the guard position, Evan destroys defensive linemen in the run game. He has some of the best combination of size, power, and body control in the state. Once he gets ahold of a defender he is going to stay on him, drive him off the line, and finish them to the ground. Evan also adds the athleticism to pull and lead on run plays that attack the edge. He doesn’t just trap defensive linemen. He will get out wide and stick blocks on outside linebackers and DBs. He is an impressive athlete at the guard position. He his services should be highly sought after. Check out any of his film. Evan’s Film Collection
Colin Girdaukas, Junior WR- Sheboygan Lutheran
Stat Line: 6 Receptions, 97 Yards, 1 TD
Colin doesn’t miss. Week in and week out he produces exceptional performances for his team. He finished the regular season as the leader in receiving yards and TDs along with being third in receptions. He is such a reliable and versatile receiver. He can stretch the field or run the quick routes with the same success. Colin is a beast with the ball in his hands too. Check out the deep pass on his film from this week. It is everything the three defenders around him can do to finally drag him down after a big gain. Colin’s Week 7 Highlights
Malachi Munoz Malachi Munoz 6'4" | 270 lbs | OL Sheboygan Falls | 2021 State WI , Senior OL- Sheboygan Falls
Stat Line: 140+ rushing yards, 1 Rushing TD
Malachi did a ton of pulling in this week’s film. He has the athleticism to do those 3-4 gap pulls and then find a defender to block. A lot of his defenders found themselves picking themselves up off the ground after the whistle too. Munoz plays angry and finishes his blocks well. You can see the strength he plays with in those moments. Against defensive linemen, he does a great job using that strength to drive them out of the gap. In the pass game he sets a strong anchor against interior defensive linemen. He provides his QB with room to step up into the pocket. Malachi’s Regular Season Finale
Ray Zuleger Ray Zuleger 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Xavier | 2021 State WI , Senior QB- Xavier
Stat Line: 260 Total Yards, 3 Rushing TDs, 2 Passing TDs
Ray is a fun athlete to watch at QB. Xavier has him do a lot on the ground and rely on him to make quick, smart decisions with the football. He rewards their trust with consistently correct decisions and big plays with his arm and legs. A big key to Ray’s success is his field vision as a passer and runner. He sees lanes open up and hits them in the snap of a finger and when he is passing he does a good job keeping his eyes downfield, even when he is rolling out or buying time. He does a good job from his safety position too. I will be interested to see where he ends up and at what position because he can do a lot of things. Ray’s Regular Season Finale
Liam Stumpf Liam Stumpf 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Mineral Point | 2021 WI , Senior QB- Mineral Point
Stat Line: 5 Total TDs, 284 Passing Yards, 236 Passing Yards
Pumped that Mineral Point was able to resume their season because they have some stud athletes on their roster. One of them being their QB Liam Stumpf Liam Stumpf 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Mineral Point | 2021 WI . Stumpf had a dominant week on the ground and through the air. On the ground, Liam plays like a running back. He has special burst through the hole and the speed to take every carry to the house if he can get a crease. The arm has plenty of ability too. Accuracy and touch boxes checked off for sure. That shouldn’t surprise many though because he is currently committed to play college baseball. Liam will be one of those “what if” kids for me where I wonder what he could do on a college football field. His athleticism makes every non-trench position a possibility. Liam’s Final Regular Season Game
Demarion Cobb Demarion Cobb 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Racine St. Catherine | 2021 State WI , Senior RB- St. Catherine’s
Stat Line: 15 Carries, 135 Yards, 2 TDs
Cobb showed off his ball carrier vision in this week’s film. He plays confident. There isn’t any second guessing. When he sees the gap he goes. It helps that he has the play speed to hit those gaps quickly and turn them into big gains. At 5’10″ 200 lbs he has the frame to handle as big of a workload as the next level will ask for him to handle. Demarion can pick up the tough yards and he can break the game open with big chunk plays. Check out his film below!

Parker Prahl, Junior QB- Iola- Scandinavia
Stat Line: 6/7, 118 Passing Yards, 12 Carries, 240 Rushing Yards, 3 TDs, All in the first half.
Parker is an athlete that makes it seem like he can do anything. He is a college prospect in multiple sports and on the football field I think he could find success at several positions at the next level. When he runs the ball he makes it look easy as he slices through defenses with his speed and his vision in the open field. Parker knows how to make defenders miss in the open field too and he showed it off in this week’s film. Parker has a nice arm too. He can get the ball to most places on the field and everywhere that is in range he can put it exactly on a spot. Parker’s Week 7
Luke Pluemer, Senior QB- Brookfield East
Stat Line: 13/16, 162 Passing Yards, 9 Carries, 103 Rushing Yards
I have been missing out on Luke, and based off his twitter page so has a lot of college programs. Luke has a quick throwing motion that gets the ball out fast. I really like his accuracy and touch to every level of the field too. In this week’s film he showed off that he can deliver the ball downfield exactly where he wants it even with pressure right in his face. He also has a set of wheels on him. When he takes off he is a legitimate threat to break it for a big play. His field vision is impressive too. There are times he worked through progressions to find the open receiver. D3 programs need to take notice for sure. Check him out. Luke’s Regular Season Finale
Cam Devine Cam Devine 6'3" | 220 lbs | RB Brookfield Central | 2021 State WI , Senior RB- Brookfield Central
Stat Line: 22 Carries, 205 Rushing Yards, 4 TDs
Cam is a beast! He recently committed to NDSU and there is no doubt that he has earned everything he has through his play on the field. His frame is college ready already. The surprise is how athletic he is and the speed he offers at his size. This is what a D1 athlete looks and plays like. While being as athletic as he is he also has the power to pick up the tough yards, not just the big plays. The more I watch from Cam this season the more and more impressed I am by him. He offers run game and pass game impact. I can’t wait to follow along with his college career at NDSU. Cam WFCA film
Ben Wesolowski Ben Wesolowski 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Wittenberg-Birnamwood | 2022 State WI , Junior QB- Wittenberg- Birnamwood
Stat Line: 10/29, 225 Passing Yards, 2 Passing TDs, 14 Carries, 151 Rushing Yards, 1 Rushing TD
Keep an eye on this kid going forward! Standing at 6’2″ 180 lbs, Ben is an impressive, up and coming dual threat QB. Ben can sling it through the air with good arm strength. On the ground, Ben is basically a running back. He bounces off defenders between the tackles and he can take it to the house if he can get into space. Ben is raw, but he has the athleticism that should get him interest from the next level. It might not even be as a QB because Ben also has talent for the DB position as well. I’d classify Ben as an athlete right now, but he needs to be an athlete that is firmly on the radar of the next level. Ben’s Week 7 Highlights
