Blake Hartman Blake Hartman 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Musselman | 2021 State WV Musselman High School RB 2021
Blake has had one of the best careers for any player throughout the state in his last 4 years. His combination of size and speed made him a threat from anywhere on the field. For being a bigger running back he had a great burst and great ball carrier vision. His speed was underrated at times because of how big he was playing the position but definitely proved people wrong when rushing for big yardage. Due to Covid he wasn’t able to break many of the state records that he easily would’ve hit with a true regular season. Look for Blake to continue to succeed at the next level as he committed to play running back at Lehigh in the fall.
Naieem Kearney Naieem Kearney 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Martinsburg | 2021 State WV Martinsburg High School RB 2021
Naieem has also had one of the best careers of any player throughout the state. With being a smaller back Naieem shows a great burst and home run speed when he hits the edge. He has great strength as he’s a smaller but stockier running back and shows great elusiveness in open field. He’s shown that he can catch the ball out of the backfield and score from anywhere on the field at anytime during the game. He hasn’t committed yet but holds offers from multiple division 1 schools for running back.
Atticus Goodson Atticus Goodson 6'0" | 220 lbs | RB Independence | 2022 State WV Independence High School RB 2022
Atticus has proven this season that he’s one of the best running backs in the state at all levels. He averaged over 250 yards a game with multiple touchdowns and carried his team throughout the season with his play. He shows home run potential when he touches the ball and is a very strong runner who doesn’t go down on first contact. He shows a good burst and gets down hill fast when running the ball. Look for Atticus to have another great season for his senior year and continue to put up monster performances and have offers start rolling in.
Stevie Mitchell Stevie Mitchell 5'8" | 165 lbs | WR Wheeling Park | 2021 State WV Wheeling Park High School RB 2021
Stevie has been great for his team throughout this season. He shows great balance when running the ball and also has shown flashes of being able to catch the ball and take it to the house. Stevie shows great ball carrier vision and is smart about when to hit his burst and when to be patient and let his blockers set up his running lanes. He shows great patience in the backfield as well and shows good speed and agility when he does hit the lane.
Amir Powell Princeton High School RB 2021
Amir had a great season for Princeton this past year and carried a great load of the rushing attack. He’s a bigger back with great agility and longer strides. He shows great vision when finding running lanes and patience when letting his blocks set up for himself. He showed great footwork and great balance when running the ball. He also showed he could catch the ball out of the backfield and get upfield to make a play.
