SE Saline (9-0) at Wichita Collegiate (8-1)
The Wichita Collegiate Spartans have an explosive offense that is posting eye-popping numbers. Wichita Collegiate has amassed almost 3,000 yards on the ground through 10 games. Quarterback Wesley Fair Wesley Fair 6'2" | 185 lbs | ATH Wichita Collegiate | 2023 State KS leads the Spartans with 1,514 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns. The Spartans will face their second straight undefeated opponent. They ended Cheney’s season with a 35-20 victory and will now face the undefeated Southeast of Saline Trojans.
Holton (8-1) at Frontenac (6-4)
The Holton Wildcats are a grind it out offense led by a trio of running backs. Canon Karn Canon Karn 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB Holton | 2021 State KS leads Holton with 1,044 yards rushing, but it is Addison Hundley who had carried the load last week. Hundley rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown in Holton’s 49-8 win over Baldwin. Konner Tannahill is the third spoke on the Holton rushing hamster-wheel. He ran the ball for 71 yards and two touchdowns in the second playoff round. The three Wildcats have combined for more than 2,000 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns.
Prairie View (8-1) at Perry-Lecompton (9-1)
Kaw linebackers Ryley Beasley and Hayden Robb Hayden Robb 5'11" | 220 lbs | LB Perry Lecompton | 2021 State KS helped lead Perry-Lecompton to an impressive 20-7 victory over Hayden. Beasley leads the Kaws in tackles with 105 which included 12 against the Wildcats in the regional victory. Robb has 100 tackles to this point for Perry-Lecompton and finished with 14 against Hayden.
Andale (9-0) at Riley County (8-1)
Riley County’s Nic Allen is coming off a huge offensive game in a 43-14 Regional win over Scott Community high school. Allen, a senior running back, rushed for 228 yards and four touchdowns in the last playoff contest. He leads the Falcons with 1,493 yards rushing and now has rushed for more than 200 yards in two games during the 2020 season.
