Parsons plays center for Edison and can play anywhere on the interior offensive line at the next level. He excels in the running game where he punishes nose tackles and takes good angles when bouncing to the second level.
He is a solid pass blocker too with good footwork. When playing against an odd front (four down linemen) he will not hesitate to help one of his guards out by promptly knocking the defensive tackle over with ease.
Parsons was one of the top center prospects in the state on 247Sports and the No. 18 overall offensive lineman in the state according to Prep Redzone.
He had offers from Idaho State, Nevada, San Jose State and Utah State prior to his commitment and he may rack up more offers if football teams in Southern California are allowed to have a football season.

Interview
What made you decide to commit to UC Davis?
What made me decide on UC Davis was their culture and their hunger to win. Also, they are a great academic school that will help me achieve my goals beyond football.
Which coaches at UC Davis did you connect with? How often are you in communication with them?
Did you get a chance to visit the campus yet? Or did you do a virtual tour?
I drove up to campus about a month ago and and walked around their buildings and facilities on my own. I texted a few of their players and had them recommend places I should check out and they totally helped me out with that.
The Edison offensive line looks excellent this year with you and Ryan Easterday. How excited are you to get back out on the field soon?
I appreciate that. Ryan Easterday is a heck of a player. I can’t wait to put pads on and finally start hitting again.
What have you been doing to prepare for the upcoming season during this strange time?
I have a home gym in my garage that I work out in every single day (besides Sunday) and I have been making tremendous progress in there. Also, in the time that I have finished my homework and other responsibilities, I have been working on my OL technique as well as working on my speed and agility.
The Sunset League is so competitive and will likely be tough again this season. What are your thoughts on the league as a whole?
All I know is that me and my guys are working our tails off. We are controlling what only we can control. One thing is that we have been faced with lots of adversity this off season, and we have been over coming every obstacle thrown at us. We are ready for whatever comes our way.
What are your personal goals this season and what are the goals for Edison as a team this season?
My goals this season is to be the strongest, smartest, and best version of myself that I can possibly be. That includes winning the weight room, giving my all on the field, keeping my academics in check, and above all being a good son to my parents. My goals for Edison as a team is that we will beat out our opponents, and to not let our mistakes define who we are as a team.
