Eleven teams from the OK Conference punched their tickets to the district championships this past weekend. Several athletes stepped up big for their teams on both sides of the ball. Below are the top performers in the OK Conference from the district semifinals.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="54861" first="Zak" last="Ahern"], QB, Rockford</h6>
Zak led the Rams to an affirmative 42-7 win over Hudsonville in the Division 1, District 1 semifinals. He completed 19 of 25 passes for 208 yards and four touchdowns and added 77 yards on the ground. The Rams will face Grandville in the District Championship.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="29754" first="Cam" last="Terry"], RB, Grandville</h6>
Cam followed up his 301-yard performance from a week ago with 129 yards and three touchdowns in Grandville’s 35-0 win over Traverse City West.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="29760" first="Marcel" last="Love"], RB, Grandville</h6>
Marcel also had a big game for the Bulldogs, rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns. The Bulldogs were the only team in the area to have two running backs rush for over 100 yards.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="29634" first="Carson" last="VanderHoff"], RB, Caledonia</h6>
Carson continues to be the ultimate workhorse, rushing 43 times for 343 yards and three touchdowns in Caledonia’s 55-38 win over Lowell. Caledonia will face Mona Shores in the Division 2, District 9 Championship.
<h6>Doak Dean, QB, Lowell</h6>
Doak did all he could to extend Lowell’s season, rushing for four touchdowns and passing for another in the Red Arrow’s loss.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="29824" first="Brady" last="Rose"], QB, Mona Shores</h6>
Brady led the Sailors to a dramatic win over Forest Hills Central in the Division 2, District 9 semifinals. The senior quarterback ran the ball 27 times for 255 yards and three touchdowns in the 28-25 win.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="29814" first="Nate" last="Milanowski"], RB, East Grand Rapids</h6>
Nate made an impact in just about every facet of the Pioneer’s 36-26 win over Holland. The senior running back had 120 rushing yards on just four carries and two touchdowns. He also hauled in a 42-yard pass for a touchdown and returned a punt for a 62-yard score. East Grand Rapids will face Middleville Thornapple Kellogg in the Division 3, District 18 Championship.
<h6>Jace DeMann, DB, South Christian</h6>
Jace had a huge day on defense, intercepting the ball three times for the Sailors in South Christian’s 21-6 win over Grand Rapids Christian. South Christian will face Hamilton in the Division 4, District 27 Championship.
<h6>John Morgan, RB, Forest Hills Eastern</h6>
John rushed the ball 13 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns to lift the Hawks to a 28-21 overtime win over Spring Lake. Forest Hills Eastern will face Whitehall in the Division 4, District 26 Championship.
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="30214" first="Joey" last="Silveri"], QB, Catholic Central</h6>
Joey completed 20 of 30 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns in the Cougars’ 41-6 win over Belding. Catholic Central will face Portland in the Division 5, District 36 Championship.
